A few months back I said Micky Arrison was to blame for this horrible situation. I said Micky had to pay luxury tax money to keep this team afloat and if he didn't he'd loose more money than what he was paying Shaq because the arena would be empty, the season ticket holders wouldn't pay $5000 for next season's ticket, and advertisers would stop sponsoring the Heat games on TV.

Sorry Micky, but I did tell you so. You didn't want to pay tax money, but now you're loosing millions more than if you would have. My mother always said that being stuburn would cost you. So, do I get a free cruise if I reup for next season?

I've berated Riley many times before on these bloogs. I know he brought us a championship so to a degree I guess I am just ungrateful. OK I'll admit it. But I am just not a Riley fan and never was. But maybe there IS a method to this madness. I mean COULDT there be? As in a Pee Wee Hermanesque kind of way, "he meant to do this?"

pat riley is the biggest front-running phony of any coach/manager that I have ever seen. why not just take off the rest of the season so you won't have to confront this pile of crap that you have created and trying to pass off as a professional basketball team? season ticket holders should be outraged at the product they have paid thousands of dollars per ticket to see this season. The sports writers- that would be you ira- should stop praying at the altar of riley, grow a spine, and call it like it is. as a coach, this guy is no better or worse than virtually any other nba coach. as a lesser name, he would have been canned by now. pat, welcome to the world of isiah thomas, yet another guy who is in over his head and should never have been given the keys to the car either. at least in new york, there is some outrage.

When you have the worst record in the NBA you want to blame everyone.
To me it seems like when we traded
toine for davis, blount and a draft pick, we got worse. I can't figure it
out. Maybe davis is like a marbury every team he goes to ends up sucking big time. Then when they trade him the team gets better. I have faith in Riley to turn this around! He has to he screwed it all up!!!! Still Heatfan!

Unusual for a Coch to skip games to watch college games. Riley has enough money and clout, he can do what he wants, and he doesn't feel like hanging around the Miami Heat

Maybe the Heat should broadcast college games on the big screens during their games. That just might improve attendance AND keep your coach around.

GO WARRIORS!!!
