Great win Cavs! Way to stick in there the whole game and tough this win out. Good outside shooting. Good win all around except for some foolish turnovers.
Stevenson is a "thug" and should be ousted from the league. His actions are typical of his identity. Nothing but a thug! |

Good to see the Cavs regather after the spanking the other evening. Nice hard-fought victory, guys! Now let's close this thing out and get some rest for the next round!

One more win and it's "goodnight Wizards"...again!
Good win. Nice to see Delonte and Boobie hitting big shots! Go Cavs! |

Great win for the Cavs. Nice shot at the end by Delonte West. The Big trade by Danny Ferry is showing dividends in the playoffs. One more and it's on to Boston. GO CAVS !!!

In mathematical terms, LBJ:WW=MJ:CC. LeBron James is to the Washington Wizards as Michael Jordan was to the Cleveland Cavs - the heartbreaker. Let's hope this team can go on to the same kind of greatness as those Bulls teams.
BTW, offensive boards is such a misleading stat. It's great that Z and others excel in putbacks, but the first requirement for an offensive board is a Missed Shot. There was one sequence in the 4th quarter where the Cavs missed at least 4 shots in a row, all right under the basket, before Devin Brown got fouled. Lots of offensive boards there, lots of gritty play, but gritty ain't pretty. |

Turning Point
Through the entire series James has relied on his team mates more than he ever has. You can see how he has changed his game going back to that big first half a month ago when it looked like he was going to score 70 plus points -- the Cavs lost that game. I believe James made up his mind then and there he was going to put pressure on the rest of the team to score win or lose. It worked. It's nice to see that this team can handle late game pressure as well as any team. |

LET'S GO CAVS!!!!!! What an awsome game, I have had the pleasure of attending the 1st 2 playoff games, the atmosphere is so awesome and positive, I was out of my seat more than when I was in it :) I just know that we are going to close this one at home! It will be a great game!!!! I am sooooo proud of these CAVS!!!!

Another good outing by Cleveland's "role-players". It makes me sick that Gibson and West can do the exact same thing as Ray Allen, i.e. play sloppy defense and knock down wide open 3's... but Ray is part of the "Big Three" and Gibson/West are also-rans.
|

Honestly, I was hoping they would lose one game at Washington.
Why? The obvious: bring it back to Cleveland for Game 5, in front of a crowd so loud, it's deafening, and we clinch it HERE! In Cleveland. Can't wait for Wednesday. Downtown Cleveland will be awesome!!! |

Get used to it because we're done for the year after the next series.

Gerat game. I am very glad the Cavs won. Washington failed to realize, James is not the only good player on the Cavs team. Go Cavs!!!
|
||||
|
You're right, Ray Allen's defense is weak. But he's been knocking down shots more consistentely and much longer than West or Gibson. When Gibson averages around 20/game he'll get his kudos too.

Imagine how good James would be if he played on Koby's team. MVP every year.
|
||||

Wallace and Smith were beasts on the boards. Gibson just has ice in his veins, someone so young who feels no playoff pressure and just rises to the occasion. This game was huge for Delonte's confidence after a subpar game 3.
You can talk about the Celts big 3 all you want, but I think the key to beating the Celts (assuming Cavs & Celts advance) is Delonte/Boobie outplaying Rondo/Cassell at PG. |

Doubt it |

Cure the turnovers and the sometimes loss of focus on defense and the Eastern Conference Championship is possible. The rest is in the future.

LeBron took a whiz on the whizards.
Go Cavs |

It's too bad the Pistons beat Philly last night.....because if the Cavs were to do the unthinkable and beat Boston, the path to the Finals would be considerably easier.
I do see us losing to Boston, but at least we'll be able to stick it to the Wizards once again. And if we can win a couple games against the Celtics, I think it turns out to be an okay year considering what this team went through in the regular season. |
|||
Why? Who's better? What do you think his point average would be if teams couldn't triple team him? |
||||
|
someone please tap Mike Brown on the shoulder and tell him that Lebron has to win a championship first before he can say Lebron will go down as the best player in this game. Yes Lebron is highlight film. Let us all remember another highlight film Dominique Wilkins. I say no more.
