You know since portly Brian is headlining on ESPN,some of his rants about LB rub me wrong, the shot is coming around, but to say he did ?some other things,he was a predator on D,setting up great looks for team mates, and 21pts,8ast,5brds,3stls,4blks,i s an allstar performance for most but LB gets the ho hum,i guess sometimes it's not good to be the king.
We only hope they don't disappear and nobody including MR critical, mentioned it would be nice if gibson would make an apperance.great job cavs.in #23 i believe!! |

Brian, you simply are the best. Rote?
Thank you for making me look up the definition of "rote" What an astute way of stating that. Right on the mark. BTW, it means this: A memorizing process using routine or repetition, often without full attention or comprehension. Monday night will go a long way in determining our fate this year. |

Take two more in Cleve against the road-challenged Celtics, one in Boston, and on to the finals. It CAN be done, Cleveland CAN do it. I feel a rising up (I'd better go take care of that).

Show that with an upgraded supporting cast and a more dynamic half court offense featuring a strong number 2 this team could really compete for a title.

Nice game. Win monday and steal on in Boston= a possible close out game on friday in Cleveland after being down 2-0. Ok, I know there might be a bump but we need to get a game on their floor after defending our home court.

Great game Cav's !!
Gibson still needs more plays designed for his jump shot, Wallace played with emotion and a purpose. Cav's fans want a laugh ? Go to the Boston Globe and read some comments by the "GREEN" fans. http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/ |

This is what I'm hopping to happen.Wally, West,Smith and Bobbie got to help Lebron. Lebron can't do it alone. He must be helped by those 4 Caballeros. They got to do it on monday and the rest of the playoffs, and bring home the BACON. Otherwise, they go fishing in the Pacific Ocean.

will somebody teach wallace shoot freethrows.Maybe he should bank his shot.Coach must give more time to Devin on the floor. He's a good feeder and shooter too.

Nice win. But offensively there were still way too many possessions that were wasted due to the "dribble, dribble, dribble, wait until there are 5 seconds on the shot clock to do anything Mike Brown offense".
The Cavs defense was awesome. The Celtics looked scared at times (much like the Cavs did in Boston). Let's get another win tomorrow night! Go Cavs! |

1 Memo to those of you who are creatures of habit and simply MUST rip Brown and the offense at every turn... the Cavs scored 108 points against a team virtually everyone on the planet calls "the best defense in the NBA". The Cavs got open shots and hit them. They ran plays to the back side when Boston overplayed LeBron. The scheme was effective, the passing was crisp, and the team was in a flow on offense, against a very good team. How anyone can fail to give Mike Brown some credit for last night is just unbelievable. I say it all the time, but I really believe the fans' lack of faith and negativity is the reason Cleveland never wins the big one. It's a Karma thing, has to be. Do yourselves a favor. Watch other teams in the other games in these playoffs. Watch teams like the Lakers and Jazz, the Pistons and Magic, and watch how many easy shots they get (very few), how many times they clear the floor and let their star (Kobe, Deron Williams, etc) try to create something off the dribble. The Cavs arent the only team with lulls on offense. It happens, especially deep in the playoffs when the competition is the very, very best in the NBA. I'm not sure some of you realize how good the Cavs really are. The way some of you talk, Phil Jackson and Jerry Sloan should be fired because the offense stalls occaisionally. Just blind fans and their crazy talk. Please try to have a LITTLE perspective here, guys. |

1 Hey Idiot I have been watching basketball all my Life and have been following the cavs since the old arena on euclid ave unlike you who probably came on board since lebron came to Cleveland,oh you are probably one of those fans who just showed up recently drinking 10 dollar beer yelling and cant remember nothing the next day.unlike the misfits lebron has to play with, jordan cast of roll players were consistent in their game which left jordan open to take over games at will, and if there was a lapse in their game the other team still had to respect their ability to spread the floor.from the finals last year it would have seemed that the cavs would have work on elimnating that type of defence on lebron boston in this series showed they havent so what happen to the coach ability plan a strategy to combat that type of defence and in case you are wandering misfits is a continue inconsistent play of lebron supporting cast you misfit |

You're right Josh, the offense was effective last night. However, the "dribble, dribble, dribble lulls" were still there at times. The same "dribble, dribble, dribble lulls" that cost them game 5 against the Wizards because the Cavs went 0 for 4 in possessions at the end of the game. The same "dribble, dribble, dribble lulls" that have allowed a 10 point lead to become a tie game, or worse, a tie game to a 10 point deficit in 4 possessions many times this season. I for one don't rip Mike Brown just because it's fun. I call it like I see it. The Cavs offense under Mike Brown has never been consistently effective, and his in-game adjustments are non-existent. If they play every game the way they did last night for the rest of the playoffs, then I'll join you in your praise of Mike's offensive coaching skills. Go Cavs! |

Bigdawg, little brain. I actually grew up watching games at the Richfield Coliseum, which was 15 minutes from my grandparents' place in Medina. I grew up with Mark Price, Larry Nance, and Brad Daugherty. I lived and died with Terrell Brandon and Tyrone Hill. I thought the big mid 90's draft (Z, Derek Anderson, Cedric Henderson, and Brevin Knight) would bring us at LEAST 1 title. I still have a Bob Sura jersey in my closet somewhere. I have been a Cleveland fan since the day I learned to walk.
Dont ever question my fanhood, Sally. Why dont you go sit in a corner for a while? Or maybe go back to school and learn how to type a coherent sentence? Now on to someone who knows some sports... RPB, that was my point. NO TEAM in the NBA plays consistently night in and night out. Not the Spurs, not the Lakers, not the Pistons. It just doesnt happen, and that's because these are the best basketball players, coaches, etc in the WORLD. To expect the Cavs to just waltz into the arena and blast Boston every night is so shortsighted, almost like saying winning NBA playoff games is a walk in the park. All that dribbling happens because the other 4 guys are being hacked, tripped, forearm shivered, and picked into oblivion by some of the best in the world, and the officiating in the NBA is just atrocious to compound matters. THAT's what I'm getting at. You're a sharp fan. Dont let the negativity and fan idiocy on this website cloud your perceptions, and I realize there is a TON of it. If you dont believe me about Mike Brown, check out ESPN.com 's scouts inc, and the new write up on game 4 tonight. They break it down very well and explain the game very clearly. |
