If Walsh can dump Jerome James and not add a contract beyond 2010 then he deserves to be President-For-Life!

As for James being a useless player for D'Antoni, why are limiting James uselessness. I can't fathom any NBA team wanting him unless said team were in the National Buffet(eating) Association.

If the Knicks aren't able to make a deal, at least they tried. The 'Isiah' days of taking on bad contracts are over. I'm glad we're not biting on lopsided deals in the other team's favor. But honestly, I usually hope that at least one minor deal could go down to move a contract- bad or expiring. The only way I would trade D-Lee or Nate if Curry's 'fat' contract was included.

I like Lee, and he could be a very useful player in the future. The problem is if we keep him, how much do we pay him?

This reminds me of the Alan Houston days, when they gave give 100M (80M more than he was worth) to stay, in fear of what other teams would offer him. that signing ws the beginning of the end.

Not similar at all. Lee is just starting his career - Houston was 30 with developing chronic knee problems. Lee cannot collect on a max contract -$10 million per season is the most he can get right now.

Imagine what Donnie could have done if he didn't have to erase all of Thomas's mistakes. How he managed to add talent for players rotting on the bench is beyond me.

It could be an interesting finish to the season if Walsh can fill the open roster spots with something other than a warm body. Even if he can't get anything more than warm bodies, Walsh still deserves an A+++

Tim Thomas was starting to irritate me. He plays was too casually, turning the ball over and throwing up shots everytime he got the ball. See ya. I'll really miss Jerome James though. He coulda been a contender.

Why is it that in every Newsday article, these writers must mention that both the Knicks and newsday itself are owned by Cablevision? Does anyone really give a damn?? Seriously. Every article mentions it. We all get it, now stop saying it!!!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Leo

Stand by for fundamental changes in a close relationship today. Something that has been hidden or secret until now comes to the surface, forcing you to acknowledge it. For instance, if you fancy someone but haven't done anything about it, the atmosphere between you now could become so torrid that you're finally overtaken by passion.
