I enjoyed the article, but one problem I had was upon reading it, it gave me impression that the knicks chose Randolph because Rashard Lewis was off the table. That's just not so. NY acquired Randolph on draft night- before free-agents began negotiating. I believe the Knicks were chasing Lewis (why not he's a great player), but not necessarily to play PF, how about an ultra-big SF? Afterall that is the position he played in Seattle.
