How 'bout a disabled GM exemption, or, even better, a disabled owner exemption? The evidence is staggerin'.

Duhon is excellent choice. I thought about Duhon before this report. I will be happy if Knicks can get him.

Duhon is a descent point guard would not mind if they signed him at all. He's not gonna make a ton of money and kill the cap. But if I had to make a choice between Duhon and Hinrich. Hinrich would be the better pick. I think he'd fit fine in D'Antoni's system.

You guys are morons, give this new regime a chance.

Duhon has almost a 4 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. That is an amazing stat. He would be a great pickup on the cheap.

I think Duhon is an outstanding low budget, team 1st choice. I like Luke Ridnour too, in the D'Ant system, as a young Steve Nash type playmaker.

Underachieving Kirk Hinrich? You can't be serious. He is playing at maximum achievement level.

I agree with you totally GW. I'm trying to be patient, but I don't see where these moves are making the Knicks better. It seems that they are creating another 'soft' culture for the Knicks....should have waited for T. Thibodeau

If Kirk Hinrich is playing at his maximum level, then why would the Knicks want him? He took a huge step backwards this year. He's okay, that's it. The Knicks need cheap solutions right now, and that's Duhon, a nice pass-first guard with a decent shot and a good defensive presence.

Gallinari is not soft. Just because he's white and European doesn't make him soft. Read the scouting reports. And if you can turn David Lee (who doesn't fit the system, can't shoot, and doesn't play defense well) into a player that will benefit in the long run, why wouldn't you?

There's this obsession Knick fans have with David Lee because he's a scrapper, and let's face it, because he's white. But this is as good as David Lee is going to get, and now's the time to trade him before you lose him to free agency. The Knicks won't re-sign him because he doesn't do the things D'Antoni needs from him. So why wait until he leaves for free when you can get something for him now?

You say you're trying to have patience? The season hasn't even been over for a month!

All I can say is that the knicks are trying to have a game plan for once. if D'antoni puts in a system and it fails. At least he had a goal in mind.
