so sad about Larry..
but wasn't he committing extreme sexual harrassment toward others?..
..look up the term sexual harrassment..means unwanted sexual attention.. and sexual attiontion from a homosexual toward a heterosexual..especially at such a young and formative age would be callled EXTREME SEXUAL HARRASSMENT by king...
unfortunately, schools at this level, are not equipped to handle sexual harrassment by homosexuals toward heterosexuals...
yea..life is complicated...

"You are quite right. We should support equal rights for child molesters, those who copulate with animals and all other sexual deviants. C'mon folks. Let's give them all the respect they deserve because heck, it doesn't matter!"

A consensual act of love between two people is not comparable to either of these. Child sexual abuse is non-consensual. Animals also can't consent.

Gay people aren't harming you or anybody.

I have many gay and lesbian friends. My uncle and his boyfriend/partner have been together for 22 years and they still do not have "the right" to get married and be recognized as so by the state of California.

When my uncle first came out, my grandparents ignored his situation until they realized that no matter how hard they tried to do whatever it was that they did, there was no changing who my uncle was ans is to this day. As of today, they co-own a VERY successful skin care company with global reaches and celebrity clients, as well as the home they have been living in for the past 15 or so years and everything that comes with it.

Why can't closed-minded people realize that being gay or lesbian doesn't make a person any less human and that "bashing" them doesn't do any good whatsoever. Gay and lesbian people have the same feelings and emotions as do everyone else. They are NORMAL.

Larry's murder is one of the saddest stories I've ever heard. There is no justification for his murder, previous bullying, or even verbal abuse that he certainly endured. What an incredibly sick person to think it was ok to shoot Larry in the head twice because he didn't like him. The murderer was no doubt taught to hate GLBT people by his family and other evil influences. This story should have gotten more media attention.

Well well. Homosexual acts are a choice. Born that way or become that way the homosexual act is a behavior and all behaviors can be controlled.

Mike Huckabee, Gov. Bill Richardson, and many (ignorant) others say being gay is a choice. Obviously these young children are making bad choices? Intolorance, over ANY differences between people (whether visable, as in appearance-behavior, or invisible, as in which God one chooses to believe in), as evidenced by many of the posts here, seems to be a integral part of the human condition and will (sadly) probably exist until the last two humans are gone from this planet.

what an outrage. instead of telling them it is ok to be gay, why not try helping them to see this is an abomination and see how there is change and healing available. this is not natural and goes against all humanity. doesn't anyone believe in our wonderful and healing GOD anymore? haven't you people ever heard of the bible? all you are doing is enabling these people to their own destruction and eternity in hell.

It's nice to be called Disgusting for something you don't choose eh?

I have to agree with Cambel that with our more effeminate 'brethren', he should at least keep his flamboyance in check. It only draws attention to him. Not saying it's wrong, but it's dangerous.

It's a sad fact in today's humanity. Being yourself, when it obviously does no one harm, can still get you killed.

Maybe someday.

Why the homophobia? really When was the last time Gays went on drivebys? Robbed you , or did anything to anyone except be gay?

I find a lot more people deserve to be hated then gays. You could only be so lucky to have your nieghborhood invaded by gays as they make great nieghbors. They keep there homes clean and well maintained they are polite, I have personally never had a problem with a gay person, as for everyone else that's another story.

If people want to be gay so be it, it doesn't bother me.

If they want to marry who cares? how does that affect you ? it doesn't.

Let them join the misery of marriage and divorce.

All this hate is so misplaced, Deal with gay people you will find they are just like us.
