Of course you can believe the police report. I had the officers take out everything Tinsley said.

Jamaal Tinsely is a LOSER. He has always been a LOSER. Remember when he was at Iowa State and they got beat in the FIRST ROUND by a #15 seed? Good point guards are team leaders. Good team leaders take control of a team and make sure they don't lose to a NUMBER 15 SEED! This guy never should have been drafted by anyone. What's Mateen Cleaves doing this days? I'm not a Mich. State fan, but that guy was a team leader and he made sure his team played to the best of their abilities and then some. All I've ever seen Jamaal do is shoot wide open 3s and miss badly (no wonder he's always wide open - at about 8% shooting, you'd be silly to guard him!)

Please remind me why Rick Carlisle is such a treasure as a coach. I think we are seeing why he was run out of the motor city. I understand having your boys back but come on Larry. It's time to make a change.

Saying that professional athletes or management get paid too much money is an awfully naive statement to make. They make millions of dollars because that's what the market will bare. Ticket purchases, concessions at games, merchandise purchases, corporate advertising dollars, tv contracts...they make that kind of money because 'fans' create a market that generates hundreds of millions of dollars. Without the players, the team owners don't have a product to sell. Players are simply making their share.

Would you prefer that the players only make $100,000/year and the team owners (the Simons) keep the extra $68 million dollars and pocket it for themselves?

DUDE THE PACERS PROBABLY PAY THE COPS NOT TO RAT ON THEM EVERY TIME THEY GET IN TROUBLE, THEY MAKE MORE THEN ANYOTHER ATHLETE IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS

P.S.
It should be football players who make the most, but with foot ball you got to split the fanchise earnings with 53 guys while in basket ball it's only split between 12 guys.

"For as much CLASS as Coach Dungy and the Colt's Super Bowl Champs exude" .... or at least, exhibit to date. The reality is, how do we know many of the Colts players aren't thugs like we know several of the Pacers are. I mean ... more than a few of them certainly exude the "gangsta motif" as we saw many of them hip hoppin' and 'posin on the celebration stage this week after the Superbowl. Turned me off .... they displayed the same MTV / BET c**p our youth wants to emulate. Maybe the only difference is someone has firmly got the word out to the Colts to KEEP AWAY FROM THE HIP HOP AND STRIP CLUBS! I suggest the Colts get the clean and wholesome label only because Dungy so publicly displays his faith, and no Colts have been in club fights. Some of them do have some spousal / girlfriend issues it seems ..... re ... a knife stab to the thigh comes to mind. So ... are the Colts all saints .... or just not getting caught? I really do hope it's the former.
Even I know that hip-hop doesn't always indicate a gangsta mentality. I remember when players first started the high-five. My parents thought that was terrible. "Why not just clap each other on the back?" they wondered. If the word gangsta had been around then, they probably would have described the high-five that way.

Unless we see the Colts being arrested for idiocy involving fists and guns, lets give them the benefit of the doubt and be damned proud they're our team.

the dungy vs carlise and colts vs pacers conpairisons are getting old. coaches and players, even fans, get thrown out of NBA games all the time. the league has made it even easier for this since last year. i love how people read one article and think they follow basketball.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Get rid of Bird and the old man Walsh. That may be a good start. I am offering up my Pacers caps and sweatshirt...I'm done with this team. It's much more enjoyable watching Sampson and the Hoosiers. Go IU!

We have one guy left that needed to be trade with the other group or instead of some of the guys that were traded and shouldnt of been traded. Tinsley should of been traded in trades before this one. Al & Sarus should of stay and traded tinsley. We dont need a druggie, a partier & a night owl on our team. We need a guy that puts his heart onto the basketball court. He plays tired. Tinsley misses alot of important shots. He even makes huge mistakes on the court. If you remember correctly he did have marijuana in his car the night of the titty brawl. It might of not been his, but guess what we will never know and to me right there should of been a termination factor with Tinsley. Plus usually when a driver of a vehicle gets confronted with an officer and notices there are drugs, alochol in their vehicle, usually there are tested to be done and most of the time the driver gets to go downtown for some free donuts. Just remember, the driver of the vehicle is in control and responsibilty of all people in that car. So even if the drugs werent his he is still liable for what is in his vehicle and there is a fine for it or a visit downtown. These celebrities get away with stuff that us normal citizens dont get away with. There should of been suspension without pay, to these guys, how else are these guys going to learn. So it sounds like we need to treat these guys like babies take away their toys, ground them for a couple of days, give them back their toys and see if they have learned, see if they play better and realized what they have and have missed. If that dont work out then they need to go back to the street basketball. These guys should of not been out partying wee hours in the morning knowing they are going to be playing serious basketball the next day. Ususally alochol takes 48 hours or so to get out of your system. That is like drinking on the job. You can get terminated for drinking on the job or leftover alochol in your system. The job Tinsley has is just a little differ us people are paying money to see this team win. I sure dont want to pay to watch someone being tired missing shots making mistakes and messing up and costing the game for the team, costing the game for the players that do have their heart into winning and playing true basketball. This is not fair to the others team members, coaches & NBA. I do think the coaches need to be stronger and stricker on situations like this. I do think a random check with them not knowing, they are going to be check, for drugs alochol before they play a game. But the guidelines for them playing the next game the next night was unbelievable, my job wont allow it so why should they alllow it, the contract can be rewritten and the contract can be changed. They just wont do it.

No, everybody didn't love them a week ago when they were climbing up in the standings. I have been boycotting the team for the past two seasons and was waiting for them to get rid of Tinsley before I got back on board. Now they have to get rid of Tinsley and Daniels. Oh, and J.O. has to become a leader.

No, we need to trade the INDIANA PACERS to St Louis for the BLUES NHL franchise and permanitly turn Conseco feild house into a hockey rink and rember there has been talk about the Blues moving and St. Louis was extreemly close in getting the Vancover Grizzlies when they went to Mimphis.
THen we need to trade the Indians AAA team to Flodia for the MARLINS then eitherly remodle or tare down victory feild getting it up to MLB capacity. And besides the Marlins have already won 2 world series and still no one goes to games. However I do think Miami could easily support a minor league team like the Indians.
