Nice statement coach. Diogu can't play because he doesn't play defense correctly and the ball doesn't flow on offense when he's in the game. Let's see, 1 field goal in the last six minutes, 1-10 in that time. Couldn't stop James. So just who are you playing that's so much better?

The players are doing good but the constant changes of the coaches made them feel of always a beginning and a lot of adjustments. As if Pacers has the hobby of changing and changing which becomes worst.

Pacers management and coaching is terrible! I don't see any possible improvements until we hire a gm that knows what he is doing. Pacers should take a page from the Colts. Use the draft wisely, not on some slow player from Europe who will not set foot in this country for a few years or not at all!

Great! It's always nice to be told that you can expect nothing new to come your way especially when you've become the highest paid bottom feeders in the history of sports.I would seriosly hate to see the Pacers do something that makes sense because wallowing in the muck and mire of being less than mediocore is such a terrific experience.I've actually come to feel sorry for anyone who has to work in the Pacer P.R department because trying to make this group sellable is about as fruitful as putting make-up on a corpse. And we all owe the organization a big round of applause for not raiseing ticket prices, lord knows Jammal doesn't need anymore guns and Jermaine will just have to settle for the $250,000 ear rings instead of the $500,000 pair he had his eye in.If you think it's tough being a Pacer fan ,imagine what it's like being told you'll have to smoke weed that only cost $2,000 an oz.(David Harrison) Yes Pacer fans these are rough times for us but find it your hearts to run down to the Fieldhouse and drop off a coulpe of hundred because we all know our boys only deserve the best!

What's the problem? Are you serious?

The problem is JO and JT make a **** ton of money and never play due to nagging injuries.

How can you move an injured player with a massive contract?

You don't think Bird has tried to move these two?

Nobody wants them, or their injuries or their contracts.

That's the problem.

Finally somebody makes sense, Thank You. Although I say "Blow it Up", they can't, this is a team that pays that "SPARE" Troy Murphy 9.2 million a year!!! This team has nothing but bad contracts and it is only going to get better by the Year 2011!!! Thank You Larry.......and cheers to you Gary.

Even if Jermaine and Tinsley were healthy, they still wouldn't be worth a dime. Jermaine is without a doubt the most apathetic player in the NBA. And, JT is just a thug. Unfortunately these players are here to stay with the Pacers for quite some time. Who in their right mind would trade a player worth a spit for these 2 guys?

Play Ike - he hustles like Jeff Foster and should be a piece of the future. Bird seems to have a quota of slow white guys to have on the team (so he can brag that he was better than them), but they all need to be canned (except Foster). None of them can play defense. Didn't the Sarunus (sp.) failure teach him anything?

There's no sense in worrying about a trade now. That would just be more of the futile "shaking it up" we've been doing since the brawl. A potential draft pick is the best option we've got coming. Maybe--just maybe--if we package that pick with JO and JT we'll get our money's worth for those two. I see no need to rebuild at the draft level. Just trade for some young, quality vets (how about Dwyane Wade?) and we'll be right back into the Eastern playoffs.(That's how lame the East is right now.) Then we can start to build for the post-Shaq/Duncan/Nowitzki era. Maybe then it will be worth trying to win the East. Neither Detroit nor Boston will be winning it all before their stars begin declining. Let them lose in the finals and then we can peak after they fade. We need to be thinking about how to match up with Orlando, Cleveland, and the Lakers a few years down the road, not any of the current contenders.

Well, its 3.10pm Thursday and not even a rumour of ANY trade with the Pacers. In fact, a source close to the Nets said Bird shot down the Carter/McGlorre
and/or Diop for JO, Owens. We would have gotten a 1st round draft pick as well....That would have meant possibly 2 (TWO) lottery picks for the Pacers.
If this is true, which came from am associtate of mine out of the NJ area who is close relations to the Nets organization, then WHY would this be shot down by Bird??????????
Oh well, see ya Eric Gordon, Beasley, Love, DJ White. Way to go Simon brothers. And yes, I blame you as being the owners of the company, just as I would be blamed as the owner of my own company if someone SCREWS up.
You have just painted a BLEEK picture for the Pacers for many yrs to come.

Couldnt agree more....I am severely confused as to why such a stud like Ike is sitting when he MIGHT be more reliable on the floor more often. I remember him
from Ariz St and as a rookie w/ the Warriors and I saw a young Antonio Davis with better offense. I think O'Brien has prooved to be on a Power trip and because 1 small issue fails to go his way...you automatically don't fit the offense/defense flow of the game. WOW!!! Talk about leadership from your coach...Example: Larry Bird's 1st yr of coaching made a mediocre Jalen Rose a HUGE part of the system for the duration of his coaching while Larry Brown sat him most of the time. I could go on with other players from other teams but its a moot situation now.

When will we have any sense of direction for the team: do we grow from within or do we start re-building, I am so confused on what is the front office doing? Enough already of these mediocre tendencies to just hang around - Indiana basketball deserves better! Look at the college level Indiana dominates, with five teams in the top twenty rankings. It is embarrassing how little the Pacers accomplished in the last five, six even seven years. I thought I would never have enough reasons to blame Larry and Donny, but enough is enough get something done, put together a team that would give us hope or move on, retire, give somebody else a chance to play chess in the front office, if you cannot move the pieces towards the winning position! I am tired of this stalemate, what about you Indiana?

Why would this team make any changes? They are perfect, they dont have a single thing that needs to be changed.....yeah right! For the love of all humanity FIRE Scarry Bird, and please hire someone competent! I am so PO'ed that my Pacers have been reduced to the laughing stock of the league, with management that is clueless, fans that dont care, players that stink. Sweet mother of jesus give us back our team!!!!!!!!!
