So what's new with the heckle and Jekyll Pacers? When you run out of money you get bench talent.

And for a second there it looked like the Pacers were going to go undefeated. JO comes back...team looses...hmmmm...must not be getting paid enough. It's your money, waste it if you wish.

The Pacers...what a mess. A once winning and proud franchise is now one of the laughing stocks of professional sports. I will NEVER buy a ticket to support this bunch. And I don't think I'm the Lone Ranger.

Well, at least we don't have to see that stupid survey asking us if we think the Pacers will make the playoffs anymore. It is amazing how almost all the Pacers right after the loss can tell you what when wrong, but while the game is going on they seem so clueless.

Perhaps, but let Barry Collier and his high ticket prices go unchecked and we'll wind up with another empty arena, regardless of the quality of play on the court

Our team has no leadership.
Jermaine averages 8 rebounds per game, and 1.4 blocks per game.
Jermaine's role in the offense should be reduced to put-backs.
If he could get his rebound average above Brendan Haywood (9.4) and blocks per game above Maceo Baston (92.0)I might want to go back to Conseco; But until then, I won't waste my $.

Its hard to watch this team even when they're bad because we don't even have a star. JO is just a 20 million dollar role player. He's turned into Vlade Divac. He'll give you 12-14 points, 6-8 rebounds, and 2-3 flops/charges a game. Disappointing considering he's only 29.

Is there anyone outside of Conseco really surprised by the record of this team? We've been pointing out the flaws for months. There is no "tweaking" to this team. Keep Granger and Foster and blow the entire thing up.

Did Jermaine come back to sink the team, I don't want to bash J.O. but haven't we lost every game since he's been back.

We don't have skilled enough players to run a half court offence, which is what he prefers. It takes Tinsley out of his element; trade J.O. while he still has some value. Ok no more ranting; I just want to watch an entertaining game.

Win or Lose I would like to see something that looks like basketball. This is terrible. I guess the best idea for me is to stop watching and check in once a month.

We need better point guard play on both ends. Defense lapses begin when the point guard needs help every play. Offensively the role is to create space with dribble penetration and distribute. We're not getting good point guard play in the games I've watched (I've missed the last 3). I still contend that Tinsley shold come off the bench and NOT BE in the game down the stretch.

I can't wait until Ike comes back.

My brother in law's company has 4 season tickets. He asked me which games I wanted him to get me tickets for... I told him I wouldn't waste my gas to drive down to Indy even with free tickets. Tinsley is CBA level talent at best. Actually there are only 2-3 Pacer players that deserve to be in the NBA. Stern is a nitwit. The league is pathetic. So many no-talents making millions. So little effort on the court. Amazingly poor skills. Referees that enforce the rules selectively... Why bother?

After the 3-0 start, Chappell wrote an article patting Bird on the back for tweaking the lineup during the off season. Where are the articles ripping Larry for his lack of moves and not moving JO when he had the chance to get some real value for him. Jermaine doesn't fit into an up tempo offense. Build this team around Granger and say good bye to 7.

The team's performance is highly discouraging and their future is absolutely bleak. Wake up O'Brien and make adjustment to the starting line-up.The contribution of the curent starting five is far below expectation suggesting the need for a change. If this trend continues,I see Pacers go 10-72.One sure way to go- blow it up and have a lottery pick.

guys chill for a minute....your deciding if JO fits or not based on whether we win or loose. Jo fits perfectly in the system without him we wont have all these open jump shots and three point shots. Not to mention he had 7 assists (easy buckets). Whats the problem? granger and dunleavy couldnt hit a shot. 2 of 13 from the 3 point line?!(please not one of granger's three pointers made was in garbage time.) When jamal tinsley is the only starter hitting 3 pointers you know something is wrong.
So if our shooters can consistently score from long range then we can stick to our plan. So stop bashing oneal and bash ur shooters.

My group agrees: it's Tinsley.
Here's why:
1. Although he creates a lot of turn-overs, he looses the ball even more with his (comparatively) flat-foot play, weak passes, and poorly executed inside shots.
2. He can't guard anybody without help, so all of the other players on the Pacers are forced to guard 1.25 men each. This produces too many open shots when they can't maintain that defensive pace for an entire game.
3. His street-ball attitude leads to him engaging in one-on-one contests with certain other players during a game. During these P*****g contests, the team play suffers, and the shot clock continues to run.

We feel that Jamal Tinsley is currently the weak link in the Pacers play. He is talented, and would make a good bench player, but we really need a good starter.

Live by the 3, die by the 3. Too many 3-point shots being taken. You cannot be a winning team and shoot 3's all the time. Run and gun, it really doesn't work all the time. They have to come up with another game plan when the 3's aren't falling.
