The Pacers are lucky that some of the fans were refs. We would have thrown them out of the game, out of the city, out of the state and out of basketball. [if that is what you call what they are doing on the court]

Butler is a class act. There's no reason the NBA/Pacers can't conduct themselves in the same manner and still make their zillions. I'm an IU grad, but I'll be in the stands at Hinkle next Saturday. IU's program is a little too close to the Pacers for my liking. Go DAWGS!!

I personally think the NBA is gonna be hard on the Pacers. They want all the other teams and owners to think they all have a fair shot at winning. The pacers were one of THE best ABA teams and ever since have gotten no respect. Look at the COLTS, didnt get any respect until recently. Thank you, point made.

Anyone suggesting that off court incidents and ugliness from teams past should have any sort of impact on how a game is officiated is a freakin moron.
That officiating last night was a disgrace. If that is the product I'm forking over my hard earned dough to witness, I see no reason to renew my season tix.
I do feel ref's should call an fair game...

Here are quotes from the Pacer players themselves from over the weekend;

"I feel like this team, the way the referees call it, we get (expletive) every night," Armstrong said. "I'm going to be honest, it seems like the referees are calling our games like the brawl team (2004-05). We're not that team that was in the brawl. We're the 2006-07 team. It's just sad because we get treated like that. We get a lot of bad calls home and away. Then we can't talk to the officials the right way."

O'Neal said certain officials treat the Pacers with no respect.
"The tone they are talking to us, it's a little strange," he said. "I could have sworn we're all grown men. They are talking in a manner you probably shouldn't. It's not all them, it's a couple of them that come in here and say things to you that kind of have you wondering,'Why are you talking to me like that.' All in all, I guess we're still on punishment for whatever reason. I don't understand, it's a whole new team."

My hat is off for the great job there trying to do. I'm disabled and have to watch them at home. I also have been very frustrated at all of the calls the PACERS get on them. Not 2seconds into the game blowing his whistle. I and the PACERS know just how the game is going to be. How they keep from sitting down (all) the rest of the night.The Pacers are a great team. If the REF(half bald white)hair should feel lucky he hasn't lost that whistle, you know where. Putting it mild.

GO PACERS if I could I would be there supporting all of you.Maybe popping the reffs. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. Rick u did great too
