I am sorry but I have no sympathy for the bad National reputation the Pacer's have earned themselves OFF the court (certain players-) need to GIVE RESPECT off the court to the citizens of Indianapolis, play ball, and stop whining.

Fight in the stands...
Guns at the strip club...
Beating people up over some furs....
Priceless.........nobody likes a crybaby and NOBODY feels sorry for you. Keep acting like idiots....Maybe Indy call pull a "Major League" move next year and get rid of everyone and bring in a bunch of no names.......at least that would be entertaining.

Change your image. Players on this team act like the 2004 Detroit Brawl team. Case in point, the issues that have arisen THIS YEAR. Clean up your act. Act like the role models you are supposed to be and not like the thugs of several years ago. Look to Coach Dungy and the Colts, also Lovie Smith and the Bears. Those guys are class acts.

So much for all those people who are saying "what the players do on their own time is their own business." Like many people are saying, these guys represent the team and the city on AND off the court, whether they like it or not. Guess that's part of the millions of dollars they are paid. If they can't deal with that, dump 'em!

If you don't want to be treated like children then stop acting like children...My daughter plays on a school team and even there are many many times it seems like the Ref's need to go back to call a foul school you can't just go off and not think it won't cause more problems...Pacers could all use some ANGER mgmt.....

The NBA is joke. Hands down the worst officiating in all of professional or college sports or high school sports.

It is either rigged at the very top, incompetence or personal agendas by referees. Reminds me too much of the WWF where every outcome is scripted.

I went to my first Pacer game in 1973 and last night will be my last. My season tickets will be collecting dust in my bureau and I sure wont be renewing them for the first time in 16 years.

The league is an insult to my intelligence. I wont support it in any way shape or form.

If people want to support genuine basketball, where the game is managed from the top down with integrity, honesty and accountability I suggest you start attending some local high school and college games. That is where my hard earned money is going for now on.

First of all, if I was the owner of the Pacers I would move them out of Indiana to some where else. This town has only supported the team with they are winning. Yes, they are having some issues right now and need our support. Who could blame the players for feeling that they get no respect. Where are the signs that say "GO PACERS"? A few years ago this town had Pacer Pride. I didn't understand why the management did what it did when they traded AL Harrington, but I just took it in stride, but still support them. Next year when J.O. is gone and the rest of the team is different, everyone will be crying cause we let J.O. go.
I will support this team no matter what cause I am a true fan.

The Pacers do need to change thier image, but this is no excuse for the officials to be biased in the way they call a game.

I would like to take this time to thank the indy star for creating a mountain out of a mole hill. Your desire to sell papers means that you will attack anyone or team to sell your papers. I want to say thanks to the bar manager who was so quick to call the paper and tell his side of the story, weather its the total truth or not! This currant Pacer team is worth supporting they have gotten better and are playing like a team finally. watching last night game it was apparent that some officals have problems with the pacers, but I agree thats just part of the game, you have to play thru it. For all you naysayers when this team gets it together and starts to win more you all be back!!!!! Thanks again to the indy star for printing this fine story in the first place and by the way hows arttest's dogs doing where the update on that? lol

The NBA has been a joke for years and we all know it. They are more interested in promoting individuals than teams and it shows in the declining quality of play. Before you bash the Pacers complaining just ask yourself if the NBA is capable of using their officiating crews to punish teams. I think they can and do.

The NBA is a joke. I agree with all who have said so. They spend so much time looking for the next Michael Jordan (Kobe, Dwayne,Carmelo, et al) they look to make money before anything else...the owners do it, the players do it, the networks do it. All they are worried about anymore is money. It shows in their behavior, it shows in thier marketing, it shows in their lack of respect. My parents have had season tickets for several years and they are letting them go this year. My mom is the biggest pacers fan there is, loves them. Was so excited when she got to high five Rik Smits a few years ago. But even she has gotten to where she doesn't care. How do you explain that. It is not fair weather fandom. She loved them when they sucked. The simple truth is the integrity of the game has disappeared and even the true fans can take no more. GO COLTS. I threw my GO PACERS sign in the trash.

If most of you people who are trashing the Pacers in this forum don't care about them, why are you taking your presious time to write feed back??? I see the same names over and over again writing that you don't care about the Pacers, eventhough you obviously do....

They say they are not the "brawl" team anymore, but every year it's a brand new stink that proves new team...same as the old team. Just when the fans try to embrace you again, they get their loyalty shoved down their throats.

Yes, most of the team are "good guys" and it's not fair for them to be lumped into the disgrace the team has become. BUT it is also up to the good guys to put a foot up the butts of their team members and force them to stop making such bonehead decisions. There are places in this town where young zillionaires can go and have fun and not get in trouble.(Seven?) Why do these guys continue to lie down with pigs?

Where's the leadership, guys? Is there no one among you that generates enough respect to keep your own guys from embarrassing you time and time again?

J.O., if this is your team, than this is your time. Stand up and do what needs to be done.

Uh huh

Of course we care!!! Hell, we've loved them for almost 40 years. Everybody in Central Indiana LOVES the Pacers. What is killing us is to see them go so far off course.

I was given tickets to the Pacer game last night and went even though I'm not a big NBA fan. I was quickly reminded why I'm not a big NBA fan. The officiating was completely one-sided and terrible. Regardless of what problems the Pacers get into off the court (which I think should earn them a pink slip - they need to go), the game on the court should still be officiated with competence and fairness. The league needs to start fining officials for bad calls.

Just another forum for everyone to spout off about their image off the court. I can care less at this point. Rehashing and complaining about the same thing day in and day out will do nothing. Can someone really let me know was the Nuggets 30 free throw attempt advantage legit? Did the officials really look like they were against the Pacers? I didnt watch the game and want to know from someone who was there. Oh and Slick from above, I will take the rest of your season tickets if you are not going to use them!!:)

I've been one of the first to criticize the Pacers and the actions of a few players. But I was at the game last night and I have to say, the refs were out of control. The players deserved to be as upset as they were.

It was evident in how the fans got behind the team during the game. As the game started, Tinsley was booed by most of the crowd and they started playing their typical lazy game. But as the Pacers (most of them) started to play the way we the fans expect them to - hard, determined, with heart and effort, the refs clamped down. But the players kept clawing back into the game, despite the refs, and the crowd appreciated it and turned quickly on the refs.

The officiating was just plain ugly. The old, white, bald ref (#17) truly thinks that HE is the show. Everytime this particular ref comes to town, the fans know we're going to get screwed.

I'm thankful the players (& Carlisle) finally showed the emotion we want them to play with.

Tinsley was still lazy and selfish, but my hat's off to the rest of the team last night. They have every right to be livid with the officiating and the crowd saw it and got behind the team last night.

This team has went through as much stuff as any team in the Professional Sports. It's great that they are still able to be in contention.

Personally, I hope that all the naysayers,(who probably never watch in Pacers games anyway would just turn their channels to "what's she wearing or Rebba)

I still believe the Pacers can win even when the calls aren't going their way.

Last I knew watching the Pacers was a choice.
