Messner's point is "they" (our employers) pay us to work, and we work and they pay us. Simple as that.

If you don't want to work, don't expect to get paid. Too many of you are lazy or content to collect unemployment.

Others are unemployed and ready to work and give their labor in exchange for pay.

Don't be afraid to work at Staples and/or Walmart and earn an honest living.

Too many of the "professional athletes" are overpaid and don't give the preparation and effort every day.

Get the point.

Rondo walked on that "hustle" play. You can't be on the ground with the ball and then stand-up. The NBA gets what they wanted, Boston vs Lakers. Refs have been caught cheating before and it continues.

Okies, way to articulate your point. Oh, forgot, you don't have one. Most of us are fed up with the attitudes expressed by Howard. Seems like a good guy, but work ethic is lacking. But, don't give me any of the this L James running back to block a shot stuff. He's a big cry baby who hustles when convenient. He wants to be bigger than Jordan, never will be. As for Messner, he makes you think whether you agree or disagree. How bout getting off this whole soccer coaching thing. Who cares, it's soccer. Pillage on!

How bout getting off this whole talking like a viking thing. It's like you're a real life version of that ch/ode from Dodgeball. And yes, little man syndrome Messner is a pathetic coach and writer, everyone with a functioning brain knows that. Perish in flames, skull cup.
