Talk about running out of gas!
I have to give this loss to SVG.
I can see keeping Howard in for the complete 2nd half, but your shooters need their legs to make shots.
he blew this one.

Tonights loss really pixxes me off. To blow a 19 point lead is totally unacceptable. I about threw my friggin remote through the TV. Thanks a lot Magic for a ruining my Wednesday night. Unbelievable.....

Come on Magic, I know you are better than that.

I have to say tonight's game scared me before it started because we have already beat the Bobcats three times. But then to have the game won and to loss. Totally disapointing.

Probably the worst half of basketball the Magic played this year.

I have to agree. In the fourth quarter ... I see Dwight hamming it up with Shard. I mean ... play the game and get serious! This team could actually be pretty good if they learned how to close out games. It's obvious they need a PF to help D12 as well.

I have to wonder what SVG said to them at halftime, because they were not ready for the second half, but the Bobcats were.

"You can't teach stupid." This team plays stupid most of the time. It is fundamentally flawed in the way it is constructed. We have 2 small forwards and no power forward. We have no floor leader that takes control. We don't pass the ball enough and other than DH, we don't crash the boards. We let opposing players drive to the basket as if it were their right to do so. How about knocking someone down once in a while. I'm not saying play dirty, just play tough once in a while. If the grand plan is to wait for Fran Vasquez, we are in big trouble. I wish someone on the team had a pair of ba**s. I guess when you have big paychecks guaranteed, it doesn't really matter. If there are really no plans to tweak the team before the trading deadline then someone is braindead.

22-19 this time last year. 24-17 this year. Just as I predicted a long time ago this team is destined for a repeat of last year.
A 19 point lead in the second half and then you allow Charlotte to score 39 points in the 3rd quarter. This after they scored only 36 in the first half. Just when you think this team may be about to turn the corner the same old stuff comes up that has haunted them all year. Turnovers, missed free throws, defensive lapses. It is all about focus. They need to play focused for the entire 48 minutes, and with energy the whole time.
This one should have been a 15-20 point blowout for the Magic.
They need to turn it around quickly and build momentum going into the playoffs. Also it would be good if they can wrap things up a little early so they can rest some of their key guys toward the end of the season. But the way they are playing now it looks like they may be battling for the eigth seed once again right down to the last game.

This was a team screwup including Howard.
19 turnovers and that is when I turned the game off.
No way a team is going to win making that many turnovers.
Hedo also was a no show even though he got 16 points if you look at how many shots to get there and how many turnovers he committed.
The Bobcats were prepared for the second half the Magic were not, what were the Magic doing in the locker room and what were the coach's doing as well this game was one of the worst and I did warn so many who post here that the Bobcats were playing much better, but so many including Nanningbob said that this was the beinging of the new win streak onto 50 wins. Well I don't think so Nanningbob.

First off to correct myself from my earlier post Charlottle scored 34 points in the 3rd quarter, after getting 41 in the first half. Either way it still was quite a turnaround.
Now that I, the voice of reason is here, please allow me to put things into proper perspective regarding this years Orlando Magic. To sum them up in one word it would have to be..average. They are just an average team at best, clearly on their way to another 38 or 42 win season and another quick first round roll over and play dead exit. This will happen after they wrap up the 8th seed in the playoffs and are blown away by Detroit or Boston.

Maybe SVG should play Garrity...It might work, who knows? hey, give it a try... I mean what can be worst than blowing a 19 point third quarter lead?

To further illustrate my point, take last nights win against the Bulls for example.. The Magic even found a way to put a damper on what should have been a complete blowout, by allowing the Bulls to go on a big run toward the end of the game. So even when they win big they still are not very impressive.
Until this team shows on a consistent basis that they are committed to playing defense, being fundamentally sound on offense, and play with focus and energy on both ends of the floor, they will be below average to average at best.

Some wiseman like Red Auerbach or someone said
" In this league you cant coach the players if the players dont want to be coached."
They make to much money just to play a game.<i said that.
I'd now like to reiterate once again how sad that the supposedly "Great" defensive players cant guard their own a-s-ses! SVG & Otis Duma-ss can say what they want about how good their boys are at it...but the fans know they suck...Not one of them can shut down anyone. Sorry about sounding off again but GEEEZZUS this team is pathetic...How I long for JJ to get a trade, he's to Intelligent to be around these imbeciles. ASAP!

while you all talk about losing a 19 point lead... I am upset at the coach! If Dooling is playing like crap at both ends of the floor why not play Redick? The bobcats were scoring at will on the second half and no one could stop them and our offense disappear...then bring JJ to the floor and he could give us some energy.

Lewis talked earlier on an interview saying we was going to be more aggressive and score more just like the night against the bulls! mmmmm where was Lewis tonight? Maybe thinking about how well he played against the bulls!

A disgusting 2nd half. I dont see how this team blows big leads in almost every game. That is what makes them so disappointing. If they would just hold on to leads, they would clearly be the 3rd best team in the east, but I dont see them staying there the way they let teams hang around and then blow past them.

THe team needs size at the 2 guard spot and a veteran big man.
this trade is a good one and will apease the redick fanatics.

garrity , bogans, and arroyo to the knicks for

Mardy collins, fred jones, and malik rose. Collins will give the team a 6'6 guard who can play point or 2 guard. If he plays point, Magic can play redick and he wont be as much of a defensive liability.

Malik Rose will bring championship experience(he is small for a power forward, but he is effective.

The knicks will get expiring contracts that they need since they are so badly in debt.

Deserved the loss. Period. The only person that performed well was Dwight.
