Rod Thorn better trade away Kidd before he gets another injury. I'd rather have Kwame brown then Bynum. At least Kwame can play defense, but only if teh Lakers either throw in Jordan Fatmar or 1st round draft picks. Smush parker would be nice too.

This team needs to get young NOW before it's too late. We all love Jason, but it's time to start over. We need cap relief and this is our only chance rod!

Do it, we don't need Bynum.

I dont agree because if the Nets trade one of them.....They are giving up on their season...If they keep both they and get RJ strong again...they can be a contender in the weak East...SO ROD PLEASE DONT TRADE ANYONE!!!

Thorn will have blown it if he doesn't make one of these trades. Most teams aren't going to give you a quality big man for a guard, even an All-Star, if the All-Star is perceived as being in 'decline'. Carter ain't coming back -- now would have been the time to deal.

"At least Kwame can play defense"

yes, Kwame can play defense.. but you obviously have not seen Bynum blocking shots. But you're right.. the Nets need to take Kwame, Farmar and McKie to make the deal work. I think its a fair trade. Nets could really use a strong center like Kwame.

Just foget about Bynum... he's going nowhere (at least i hope):)

garett is an idiot if he thinks the lakers would give up kobe. Kobe is and always will be a laker. Kidd should remain a Net, Carter can be traded only if we get some quality at the 2-guard back. J-rich will be back, and Nenad Kristic was averagine strong numbers before he went out for the season. If Orlando is willing to give up Ariza, Reddick, and a 1st or 2nd round pick, the Nets should take it

let jason kidd go to the lakers he is an allstar and deserve's a chance at a championship ring. Jason kidd and kobe bryant together may turn the whole team around and might make them dangerous in playoffs being dat jkidd is the best point guard in the east

I definetly think Kidd and Carter should get traded. Both of them need better futures in the NBA, and I don't they would do it with the Nets.

Say man I jusgt want to let this out man I think they should move Jason Kidd to tha Cavs my team becasue they need some one that can move the ball up an down tha court u know and gets some steal becuse over tha pass 20 games Cavs hasn't been gettin dat much steals u know but then if they put Jason on tha Lakers then from their tha LAKERS is gon be one hell of a team man I tell yea this right n ow if they do get Jason man LAkers record is gon be lik 58-30 or 60-45 u know because of JAson kidd and how he make plays u know but they if tha Raptor make enough money to get their former player Vince Carter bac it's gon to be tha best thing dat ever happen in history man fo sho no joke well holla 1

Lakers may be willing to part with Bynum to get Kidd after all... But I don't know if that's a good idea since more players would need to be included to match salaries. I think we'd be giving up way too much... Kwame, Bynum and who else? for Kidd? hmmm... questionable!

New Jersay should just take Kwame, Farmar, Mihm, etc... they're getting two starting center and a future starting point guard.. what else do they want? Aren't they rebuilding?

I think that's what the Lakers have been trying to do but the Nets continue to insist in getting Bynum. They've offered Mihm, Kwame and Farmar.. I mean, that's 2 starting centers!!! New Jersey should take the deal and move on!!
