Why is Joakim Noah talking about being aggressive on offense? Shouldn't he be more aggressive by actually hustling back on defense? Offense has nothing to do with giving up 27 and 17.
Oh, and Joakim, your rebounding is shi*ty too. |

Good to hear Kirk visited. I hope he stays involved and helps Derricks development.

kids gonna get pounded driving to the basket. deng, nocioni, gordon would rather launch the 30 footer with the usual result of a miss, a rebound a fast break, a score.

This just in... the Bulls have released all players except Rose, who will go it alone every game until management finds players with brains who understands the game. Paxson is quoted as saying, "we wish Derrick the best, but we know he can handle going 1 on 5. That's why we do psychological tests before we draft a body"

Noah needs to be more aggressive...in demanding a trade. Seriously, Arraon Gray is better.

I'd hope that Noah would be more aggressive. If getting humiliated by his former teammate isn't enough to push his buttons, then i'm guessing nothing could. Thomas and Noah, could both learn a thing or two by watching and listening to Rose. They both have talent, but neither has anywhere's near the heart and desire that Rose has. Rose wants to be among the best, while Thomas and Noah are apparently just playing for the paycheck only. And the ironic thing is, the players who have the desire to be among the best are the ones who end up with the biggest paychecks.

Aside from the fact that everybody knew Noah was(going to be) a no offensive talent bust(Al Thonrton who they could have had and worked out before the draft scored 20 points again last night), his being out of shape speaks volumes about Paxson's ability to draft quality attitude players. Thomas is the most immature dolt I've ever seen in a Bulls uniform(check out the youtube video of him after LSU wins the game to go to the final four- the most ungracious psycho tirade you will ever see), and Noah's not far behind him. Gordon and Deng even in some sense while hard workers seem a little on the immature side as well - as opposed to men and leaders which is what we need.
Vinny's not steering Derrick Rose to correct his defense on pick and rolls so that he focses on getting past/under the pick player, and then meeting in front of his man without allowing a path to the basket is inexcusable. Instead, he's allowing Rose(against Atlanta) to continually stare at his opposing guard while getting trapped by the picking player. For Vinny not to correct this, and leave a star like Derrick vulnerable to such an obviously correctable mistake/adjustment is just leaving a hugely talented, dedicated kid hanging in the wind. It's downright disgusting. Rose desserves better by a long shot. Somebody please tell him to focus on the pick player and cut underneath rather thatn follow the cover player blindly, and getting caught in the pick and roll. It's making his defense suffer mightily insetad of being the all around game force he could be. I'll tell you, I'm so completely disgusted after the Atlanta game, and Derrick's outstanding 26 point 10 boards stud effort with a sore/spasming back, I'm thinking the Bulls don't deserve him at al. I know John paxson sure as heck doesn't. |

Not trading Deng or Gordon will go down as one of the silliest GM moves ever! Haha right behind trading Aldridge for Thomas and drafting Noah. Wait...they were all done by one guy?? What!
I would rather watch Rose play with a bunch NBDL guys that try then this group of losers. The pros are very different from college, stop drafting guys based on that! Hansborough will be drafted by the Bulls for sure next year. Just wait. |

When Portland drafted Oden, they had a really young and talented nucleus. They knew that they had to get rid of Zach Randolph and Darius Miles because their troublesome behavior and laziness would set a terrible example.
The Bulls need to do the same with guys like Tyrus Thomas and Joakim Noah. Before corrupting Rose and Aaron Gray, deal these two jokers for whatever you can get. |

Here’s the basic dilemma the Chicago Bulls have: Their best player is a rookie; their most-dedicated player is a rookie; their most mature is a rookie.

Yes its really disturbing to think about the TThomas/Arlidge; Noah/Thorton, Deng/Gordon____fill in
discrepencies. I agree too that this nucleus is an embarrassment to the Chicago Bulls spirit which MJ gave a new world wide following to. How about Karl Malone/John Stockton type of work ethic millionaires? Your money has been made, now move on. You can't tell a millionaire what to do with his money for sure. We, as fans, can only express our feelings for the game openly. In the long run, who'll win? Certainly not players with the work ethic that we're discussing. What is the difference between a Dwayne Wade and Paul Pierce and what the Bulls put out on the floor? Really? What is the difference? Its seems to be heart as much as talent. Are the Bulls going to get that instilled with VInny? I say, Skiles should have stayed, and the lazy ones should have been shipped. |
