move wade to point for career. sign n trade for artest, wallace, or lewis (in that order). keep posey. get wade to sign up mj's old personal trainer to add muscles/strength so that he is not injured every month. give jalen rose a chance as backup point replacing payton. keep eddie.

Riley is no magician but I trust he is the best in behind the stage trading.

The real questions Ira: Will Wade be the same after two surgery? Will Shaq REALLY want it? If.. YES, then Pat will get the right players around our two Super Stars!

Come on people who are we kidding here? The heat are more than the right frame of mind and a couple of pieces away.Need I remind us of the fact that lueowl dangit looked like micheal or dominique against us,that we had no answer for any legitimate contender last.Shaq showed us last year he is definitely at the end of his career,by having a dominate performance one half and having ben wallace block his febble attempts at lay ups because he was to tired to slam it down.Riley is up to his old tired mastermind tricks of trying to bluff everyone,he allowed himself to collect old players and kept them to long.Dewayne had the performance of the modern day mj whether people want to accept it or not but even mj wasn't surrounded by people who couln't hit open shots.Bottom line we're in deep trouble.!!!!!!!!!

Go back to school. Learn the language. It's good that you love the Heat, you are just a difficult read.

First of all, I think one exclamation point after deep trouble would have sufficed. Secondly, have faith... This is Pat Riley we're talking about, not Danny Ainge. I think Pat has more than proven that he has the ability to upgrade his team through agency, even if it means trading half the team. The guy is shrewd. Look at how he snookered Philly into paying for their pick. Gotta love Riles...

The Heat needs defense. They need Artest. If he signs here then the Heat will have another Championship. Artest can stop the Chicago Bulls. Also give Dorell a chance. He has want it takes, it would be a big mistake to let anather team get him. He will be a superstar in this league.

Heat Lineup
Shaq - Zo
Wade - Cook
Artest - Dorell
Williams - Quinn
Udonis - Walker
6 man - Posey
I really like Posey, but if Riley leave him out there to find out his value, he will get a lot of takers.
I would find a way to pay him and keep him here.
3 point man - CaBoomOh is gone. He will get paid somewhere else.

Getting a few star players doesn't make a great team - remember the Bullets with Webber-Ritchmond-Strickland? They couldn't get out of their own way. Randolph is a very good 4, but the Knicks under Thomas have done very little.
Boston is going to have chemistry issues as Pierce is like Arenas and Kobe - a ball hog.
Atlanta is perhaps the strongest in our division - if their rookies pan out.
One name that might replace Jones is Allan Houston.

No doubt Rile's is who he is, one of the best Head coaches & President's around. He'll make something happen. Acquire Chauncey Billup's if poss, resign Posey. Love Lewis but too soft to play 4, he'll have to start 3. Hold on to UD And forget everyone else. Heat need dominant pg play & athletic SF play bad.
5 Shaq
4 Udanis
3 Rashard Lewis/ Shaun Marion
2 Wade
1 Billups

Chauncey will stay with D.

Anyway, I'm sure he hates the Heat

I am glad none of you are the GM for the Heat because NO ONE MADE ANY SENSE in what you wrote.

"But Riley said he is not interested in change for the sake of change."

How about changing because everyone else is improving? Like Chicago did last year and look at what they did to us. Everyone is improving against you, and if you dont adapt, you lose!

Last offseason was terrible, we dont need blockbuster trades but you need to trade for a starter!

Chauncey might stay with D if they give him the money he wants, and while I doubt he hates the Heat he LOVES winning.

WE need a versatile bigman, Rashard Lewis would be a good fit. Shaq cannot be the man when we play the likes of Chicago & Phoenix. He is much much too slow. Billups would be great if we could get him, I love JWill but he is too injury prone to be the number 1.
Zo, Posey and EJ must be kept for their offence and their ability as stoppers.
The nucleus of the squad must be DWade, Shaq,Udonis,Zo, Ej & Posey.
