Go Asia and Europe, there are lots of untapped point guards. why stick with recycled point guards, go international!

On the surface...it's obviously not pretty. But, who's to say Mo was the answer anyway and it appears the Bucks grossly overpaid for Mo. But despite Riley's current hole he's in, he has been known to pull off a trade or two. Heat fans...that's the only way out of this. Plus, Navarro may like Mickey's $$$'s.

I give the Heat a big F this offseason. While other teams are getting better, Miami is losing players and not signing any.I guess Shaq and Wade are not that attractive anymore. It looks like another sorry season for Miami next year.Good job Riley.

Where are all of these poser Miami Heat fans coming from? You band wagon jumpers should go back to the comfort of your Patrick Ewing Knicks jersey.

i think there's a big a** hole in the heat's organization. after getting a bust in the draft then played a "slow-Mo wait and see" just to get another big 0. are they really that serious in rebuilding the team and taking another crack at the crown? how many more frustrations do you want to give your fans?

if i'm Pat, i won't pursue that long vacation until i restore sanity in my organization.

Well the best option for Miami right now would be Steve Francis by far . Point guard Brevin Knight has a nice game but He is small. I know size don't matter But I feel Steve Francis is a better player then Kinght. We lost the chance of Two point Guards Mo Williams and Steve Blake. Miami should get Mickael Pietrus from Golden State or Matt Barnes would be a great players for Miami to pick up at small Forward they can play defense and shoot the ball well. And they are pretty tough I Hope Riley is trying to get Wade and Shaq help. Wade won't have Shaq for to much longer so Riley better get Wade some before he retires. Mo Peterson could be another possible chance. Miami needs shooters and players that can flat out play defense. To slow down players like Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Chauncey Billups, V. Carter. That Small Forward spot is truly hurting us.

You guys are some real clowns for calling Mo Williams a bum for staying with his current team which is giving him far more money than we offered him.
BTW, the guy is going to make the same money that J Will has been making. The only difference is that his stats are better, his shooting percentage is better, he's much younger (24) and faster, and he also plays a little defense.
If the Heat really wanted this guy then they should have started by talking sign and trade instead of trying to low ball the guy into taking the mid-level exception. You would have to be a complet moron to take $3 million less per season to play for the Heat over Milwalkee. The guy is young, people take less money at the end of the careers in order to win Championships, not at the beginning...
I guess this is what Riley meant when he said there is no offseason. I didn't realize that meant he would do nothing to change the team.

i'm not sure how consistent of a shooter matt barnes is, but he definitely is a great energy player and did pretty well in the playoff for GS last year. I would be happy with him.

with wade still rehabbing his knee, and going to miss start of training camp, i'm surprised how many folks here aren't worried he is not going to be healthy this year. without a healthy duo (shaq and wade), we are going to stuggle.

has anyone heard anything on antoine's conditioning this offseason? aside from the arrest, he isn't in the news much and it doesn't look like the heat are saying much about him playing a larger role this year. we might actually need him to score

HEY ... new draftees and young players don't get your hope up. Riley will find a way NOT to give you any playing time even without Mo. It is not in Riley's cards that young players can get close enough to the floor to smell it during regular season unless they do it from the bench.

"Wade won't have Shaq for to much longer so Riley better get Wade some before he retires."

When this next season is over and J-Will and Zo gone, Miami will have 11.5 million to spend. After next season Walker will also be gone and that's another 9 million. I think that with all the big name free agents available next year, Riley and Arrison will just wait it out. It makes it a hell of a lot easier knowing that they won a championship just a year ago too.

By the way when I said "After next season" about Walker, I meant after the 08-09 season.
