sounds like pat is thinking about cory maggette. I think that would be a excellent move.
thank you Joe that move would actually make since. Although he is primarily a slasher he would be a nice fit into our system at the right price.

Riley said hes looking for a playermaker opposite of Wade. Good luck Riles. There ain't no playermakers available at your price. Micky Arison is a cheap cape. Why would he let tornto get their hands on the best 3 point shooter in the league last year in Kapono. Jason Kapono played team defense last year. I thought defense was Pat Riley's thing.
If they let Posey go. They need to go get their heads examined. It also would be a good indication old Riley is becoming a litte senile. But he ain't crazy. D-Wade is uncertain to start the season. Pat Riley is uncertain to coach next seson. When Wade return and start lighting up the score board. Pat will be back to bask in the glory.
Sir you need your head examined. I will bet you a year's salary Kapono disappears in Toronto. Do you guys not get why it was so easy for him to make those three pointers? When you have Shaq down low and Wade up top somebody is going to be open. Last time I checked 90% of the league could hit wide open shots. Wait let me guess Steve Kerr and Craig Hodges were great point guards. You guys really don't know how to scout talent. Kapono is VERY slow, can't handle the ball and is a big defensive liability. Trust me that guy jumped at 24 mil. I'm surprised their GM over spent like that but whatever glad we didn't. See you at the end of the bench player.

We'd have more money if Shaq would earn what he deserves no more than $10M a year. We need Posey - I think he's posturing to scare off other teams.

The most likely scenario is Pietrus - he's quick, athletic and can hit the 3. Plus, he's not breaking the bank. Posey brought a lot to the table - defense, clutch plays, but that's it - he's peaked, no upside. Kapono was an NBDL'er after Wade went out. Double team him abd he'll cough up the ball. Big disappointment, wasn't able to carry his game.

i live in the bay area so i'm familiar with the warriors and pretty much Pietrus. I think this guy is the real deal. i definitely prefer him over gerald wallace. Pietrus might've been overshadowed, as he was more of a bench player than starter, but he has shown his b-ball abilities and skills to contribute significantly.

actually, i think he'd be a very good complement to D-Wade...the kinda player riley is looking for.

A lot of teams are making moves and yet while the Heat do not want to make the WRONG move, what is really stopping them. Certainly they need to improve and can't continue with same team or they will be looking up in the standings.

Gary Payton should be starting over Williams anyway age is a number and Payton can do anything better than Williams
Ur absolutely right!! Gary Payton can still play. Heat should re-sign him since they've lost the chance to snatch Mo Williams and Steve Francis. Why sign Steve Blake 5.1M when you can get a solid veteran for 1.1M
