Sitting on the bench in street clothes, injured Heat starters Dwyane Wade and Jason Kapono watch as their teammates continue to play as if they don't miss them. Full Story

When you watch this heat team play like this, you can see why they won the championship last year, they're tough mentally and physically. Posey reminds me of P.J Brown but more skillfull, Haslem is a warrior, Jason is nails,
Shaq is Shaq, and 'Toine is Leroy Jenkins...

NOTHING LIKE PLAYING TEAM BASKETBALL..PERIOD..Heat with JWILL running the POINT are 17 wins and 3 loses. Just hope Wade, when he comes back, lets Williams RUN THE POINT GUARD POSITION. ( JUST KEEP THE BALL IN WILLIAMS HANDS)...I see another CHAMPIONSHIP in MIAMI. And EDDIE JONES..what a PICK-UP.

The best thing about this current streak is the the rest of the Heat - Shaq included - are learning to play real basketball not just pass-it-to-Wade-and-he-will-ba il-us-out. It makes them far less predictable. Lets hope that when Dwayne returns they keep the same style of play which will allow him to be the icing on the cake and may make them a challenge even to the prima donnas of the West.

Didnt I say it before? All you haters out there where are they?? Now let me say this as a REAL fan.. Great win for the Heat again I love it. The only thing that concerns me is that the Heat had a 14 point lead (up as many as 22) I think when entering the 4th quarter and then the result was 103-97 by the end. Even though they were consistent all game long and thats exactly how they are going to win more games. Being consistent is what really matters and Im loving it.

Has ANY team ever finished off the regular season with a 27-game winning streak?

I'm fairly certain it's never been done. Here's hoping Miami can make history by doing that, and then winning 16 more in the playoffs.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOO HEAT!

Usually after a loss or losing streak, this comment board would be filled of negative comments from so-called anti-Heat fans. I'm pretty sure they'll be back as soon as the Heat slip. As for now, I'm very happy to how this team has come together on this Wade-less span. It truly shows how resiliency & focus go hand-in-hand. I give much credit to Riley & Shaq plus the veteran players for their hard work. Keep it up Heat! Stat of the night... "Since acquiring O'Neal, Miami is 40-1 at home in February and March."

I love the Heat but they have to get rid of that frankenstein head, non-athletic, 2-14 shooting Walker.

no team has ever finished the season with a 27 game winning streak, but the best streak in league history was when the lakers won 33 in a row

Yes, I know about that streak. I didn't believe any team had done what I'd asked about. Although I was a game off. If the Heat were to go undefeated for the rest of the season, they would end on a 26-Game Winning Streak.

Heck, I'm dreaming the dream and hoping they don't lose another game till they hoist the 'Ship. Could you IMAGINE that? A 42-Game Winning Streak to End the Season and Win the Title? That would be on par with Jordan's 72 Win Bulls...lol

Should be a good match up in the Eastern conference finals with the Pistons. I had you figured as a Knicks fan, not the heat. Lets see if the Heat, specificly Shaq can keep up this unbelieveable pace. They have covered like 9 straight games and won me some cash.
