This just in:

Our fearless leader Vice President Dick "Smirk" Cheney (such great man) and Heat Coach Pat Riley have convened for an emergency session and they both have studied the situation and declared the following:

THE INSURGENT CHICAGO BULLS ARE ON THEIR LAST THROES, IF YOU WILL, YOU KNOW, THEY ARE DEFINITELY ON THEIR LAST THROES. IT TOOK THE LATEST SURGE OF GREAT PLAY AND STEALTH FREE THROWS BY SHAQUILLE O'NEAL.

We need Bibby or Miller.Say goodbye to Gary an Walker .I was happy to see Gary got his well deserved ring, now it is time to go,Jason williams too.We need Morning and Shaq for the one two punch, not to mention Wade.Posey must stay no matter what.Don't give up on Jones yet we need him for the regular season to give us a better seeding in the playoffs.Haslem does not look motivated anymore.Thatis a cause for concern. We need to boost our bench. We need a Dennis Rodman type of player,e.g loose balls and rebonds. If we do that ,then we would win the championship again.Remember I said that.

Well thank god he isnt dumb enough to realize that we need a better PG. J-Will was good, until he got knee tendonitis. Look at the good teams, they have quick, smart PG's. As a former college player, I know that PG is the most important position on the floor. Look at Nash, Kidd, etc.

they have to go for Billups if they wanna contend for a title again. there you have the full package, offense, no-turnover, big shot leadership and specially DEFENSE.Do a sign and trade or go over the salary caps. you build a team around , Shaq, wade and billups and we are back in business.get young players and played them, D-wight and E-Barron.
From the old crew keep ZO(if he wants to come back) and EJ(good minutes during regular season).
Walker Doleac ,Williams and Payton MUST GO.

Bibby or Miller. I hate Billups. I'll bet you Walker stays and Williams remains as a backup point guard. If we lose Mourning, we are gonna want to keep Doleac. I wish we had a Barron Davis type. Riley will pull off another trade.

The only options that are out there that will improve this Miami Heat team is 1st get Chauncey Billups, yeah we have to pay something for him but don't you think he's worth it? Just imagine him, Shaq, and Wade on the same time together? The second option is between Mike Bibby and Andre Miller, those are the only three players that can take us back where we belong,to another campionship.

That's why Riley is paid the big bucks, he's supposed to figure this stuff out.

Acie Law is the answer. Be sure to draft him
the backcourt will be on solid ground for the next 10 years.
This kid is a future star maybe better than Paul of N. O.

Should have taken Jamier Nelson from St. Joe's in the draft when you had a chance. Instead Orlando took him and he is a starter for them.

Wow, proof that it's never too early to say something really stupid.

In Riley we trust. He now knows we need an infusion of youth after getting jap slapped by the bulls. He will a PG that can push and play D. Replace the Walker brickfest, and I would keep Kopono, Jones, Haslem. They need that hunger back, though. Shaq to me didn't look motivated at all this season.

I thought the Heat should've gotten him too instead of Dorell Wright, but now that i see him in the pros, he's an average point guard. No defense, no leadership, and he takes crazy shots, no wonder the Magic might let him go after this playoffs are over.
What the Heat need to do is draft a point guard like Acie Law and trade for a veteran point guard to show him the ropes and then slowly but surely let him play more and more minutes until he shows the maturity to start. No matter what, the Heat really need a 3rd option scorer behind D-Wade and Shaq because in this season, nobody did that, and I know everybody can agree with me on that. Walker and Kapono were too inconsistent, Payton and Mourning were to slow to become scorers, Jason Williams was always hurt, and Posey was never a true scorer in his career. In this year's draft, whatever the Heat get, they need a scorer, and if its a point guard that can score, then that would be a bonus.

Too bad the East was so unbelievably weak. We should have never made the playoffs and had like the 14th pick. The nice thing about having Wade and Shaq is that great players are willing to take a pay cut for a chance at a champonship (a la Zo and GP) Riley will shuffle the deck and we'll be loving it. Remember aquiring Zo and Timmy.

He knows he has to do something just to fill the majority of empty seats in the AAA

I think that Acie Law would be a great draft choice. He is going to be a "Chauncey Billups" type of player. My first choice for upgrading at the PG would be to try (and I really mean try - don't take no for an answer...within reason of course) to sign Mike Bibby or Andre Miller but if not, than most definitely draft Acie Law (and allow him to play and develop) would pay major dividends. You read it here first: Acie Law will remind people of Chauney Billups in 2 or 3 years.

Riley knows what he's doing. Point guard is major priority. Can we release J Williams without a hit on the salary cap? I did not understand converting his $8.9 million dollar deal. I like Mike Bibby myself. Does he want a Championship Ring?

Of all the PG names he throw out, only Andre Miller sounded good to me.

Possibly a Mike James even though he had a bad year.
