I'm really at a loss as to what Riles is doing. It is critical that he states his position on whether he will be coaching or not as it is difficult to try and bring in quality free agents when they don't know who they will be playing for. I personally would like to see him retire, period! He simply doesn't get today's game: Young and athletice, not OLD and slow! Unfortunately Stan is now in Orlando and any other quality caoch has been hired. Thanks Pat!

Arison should get off his boat and make the decision to hire a new coach.

Also, if the Heat is going to do anything this year, they must make some moves. Outside of the obvious (getting a point guard), Here are my suggestions for success:

1). Get rid of Michael Doleac. He is way too slow for the athletic NBA. Would also free up some CAP room.

2). Get rid of Antwain Walker. I mean, give up on him! Inconsistent is a gross understatement when talking about him. Package him in a trade (if anybody else will take him).

3).Make Shaq restructure his contract to allow for a higher price free agent. I mean, love the big guy, but with age and the unwritten "Shaq rules" (which won't allow him to turn out of his post-up without getting an offnsive foul), he is no longer
"Superman." He is just a good center. And 30-something million a year a wa-a-a-ay to much to spend for a good center!

4). Have D-Wade call Gerald Wallace and beg him to sign with Miami.

5. Do everyhing you can to keep Posey! The team really needs his defense and scoring.

6. Expand the rotation! a 7-8 man rotation is ridiculous! This is not college where you get red-shirt years. They are professionals who are being paid to provide a service. Let them provide it! It shouldn't be a secret why Miami can't land quality free agents. As much as they would love to play with D-Wade and Shaq, they don't want to come and get stuck on the bench because of some stupid, out-dated, didn't work in New York or Miami rotation rule! They want to play, so they go to teams where they will get some PT. Don't you get it?

7. Intergrate Earl Barron and Dorell Wright into the rotation.

8. Bring in a young, energetic, innovative coach.
