Oden vs. Collins could become an epic match up for years to come. As a coach Witman'ss greatest value has been his uncanny ability to lock up high draft picks. Madsens 7 3-point attempts in one game was pure coaching genius. Sadly we have Foye not Roy, Love not Mayo and Brewer to show for coach Witman's efforts

You won't even have to watch the game. Portland will dominate inside, both offensively and defensively, and pretty well lock down Big Al. The wolves will try to score from outside and will keep it close for a while, but then will hit one of those 10 minutes lulls where the shots aren't falling, and end up losing 104-86.

There, look at all the time you saved. Without commercial interruption.

Oh, the game it at the Target Center. Who would have known with all those customers disguised as empty seats. Seeing as how it is a "home" game, let me revise that to 104-96. You still don't need to watch.

It will be interesting to see whether Kevin McHale comes full circle and realizes the T-Wolves need a coach like Flip Saunders to win! Randy Wittman has never won as a coach in the NBA and never will. He isn't concerned about his future because he knows he excels as an assistant and coach Saunders would welcome him to stay on.

Get a clue McHale, before its too late!

the problem is McHale and his idiocy with drafting, what does he have to show? Garnett that is it...he is absolutely terrible and anyone else would be fired a long time ago!

Why there isn't a mass call for McHale's firing is beyond me. He is without a doubt the worst GM in modern sports history and yet the Mn. media ignores his never ending idiotic moves. Got Mayo? No! We traded the Mayo for some cheap Love and a dude with Chiclets for teeth and a mullet.

The soloution to this madness is for Taylor to either sell the team to a new owner who will fire McFail & hire a new GM or Taylor to fire McFail & hire a new GM.

cardinal, miller and collins to new york for marbury.
knicks may be able to fit in miller and spot use collins.
marbury may play his best to try and show he is worthy of another look (from any team) when his contract is up.
wolves free up all kinds of cap space next season.
can go after pgs devin harris or andre miller or some real good player who opts out.
would have been so nice to have gotten the first pick (rose).
maybe wolves can get a deron williams, chris paul or a steve nash in the next draft.

I wholeheartedly love Jefferson's support of his coach. He is the definition of a team-first player, and his talent is equally matched by his loyalty to the team. That being said, being a diehard Timberwolves fan for many years, I have noticed a recurring theme this season, as well as last. The T-Wolves are not able to close out games where they have an advantage going into the closing minutes. Big Al makes the most of his shots, and the talent level doesn't seem to faulter a whole lot. However, the mentality of the team completely changes, and the play-calling/shot selection drops in quality significantly. These are problems that should be fixed by the COACH. It is his responsibility, and his job, to get his team in the right mindset, and make sure that they are setting themselves up for good shots. Although Randy may be a great coach in prepping teams for games, he appears to be a horrible gameday coach.

I understand that Big Al and Taylor are virtually forced to PUBLICLY support Wittman, but I honestly don't know why he was hired in the first place much less how he's staying for years. How do you put that much trust in a coach with a 98-202 career record? Get real.
