Troubling indeed. Oden's performance is indicative of the lack of an interior presence on the Knicks. Fourth quarter collapses are becoming a habit for this team. I was screamin' the same thing- why they didn't foul Roy? I thought the D-man should have gotten some more burn also, and once he gets more time will he be that 'go-to' guy in this system?

You don't succeed if your 'go-to guy' is a 6'10'' jumpshooter. It needs to be someone who has the ball in his hands coming up court and can create... It's one reason that the 90's KNicks never won a title, their
go-to guy was Patrick, the Bulls MJ. The KNicks got closer when they had SPrewell and Houston and then lose Ewing before the finals agaibnst Spurs

It was a helluva comeback, first by the Knicks and then by the Blazers. I'm happy but I doubt you Knicks fans share my happiness. Portland has a potentially great young team with a bunch of great young men who no longer embarrass the city with 'Jail
Blazer' antics and I think Brandon Roy is a potential MVP in a couple of years.

But the writer of the article said something about Nate Macmillan's job being in jeopardy and I've just now stopped laughing. Nate will be here for as long as he wants to stay and the Blazers keep growing. I think firing coaches in the press is strictly a New York 'thang'. Why did Newsday's so-called 'journalist' even broach the subject?
