It's OK, the Knicks aren't going anywhere this year. Let the guys that need to play, play. That would be Eddy Curry, so we can trade him next year/over the summer for a pick or shot blocker. That would be Nate, Chandler, Lee (only if he is healthy, no reason for him to play now unless he is totally healthy, no more Gallo's this year.) Also Demtrius Nichols should get some minutes with Samb, if they aren't given minutes there is no reason to have them on the team since we are not developing them. Rest Duhon another 2 weeks. Let Hughes ride the pine after he has a good game so we can trade him. Let Wilcox take some of Lees minutes and rest Lee for next year, see if Wilcox is worth keeping or trade him/let him go. Let Harrington play 20, just enough to show he can play and trade him. Let Jeffries play 30, see if he is worth keeping, I think he is/he needs some steady minutes. Thats about it.Play em to trade em or keep em/rest em for next year.

The Knicks were not going to make the playoffs anyway, the best thing to do at this point is to play guys for re-evaluation, possible trades, etc.
They are a work in progress and won't be serious contenders for a few years.
It was nice to dream about what could have been this season, but the team needs a vocal leader who will get on guys for making mistakes.
This Knick team lacks that type of team leader.

If the Knicks can't trade their pick/s for a shotblocker they should consider trading their 2nd and 1rst to Minnesota for their 2 later round picks, their 18th and 28th. This way the Knicks can get a 2 for 1. No one in the draft is that special at the 12 pick. The Knicks could then try picking up guys that are proven, hard nose players that have heart. I'm thinking Tyler Smith and Hansbourough here. Neither are the greatest athletes but both make up for it with their heart and that's what makes a team and a champion.
