Love you Jack. Hope everything works out in your favor. The rest of you people, stop hating. All of us live in glass houses. So stop throwing stones. It is really too much going on from the white house to the crack house, so stop the madness.

"I'm not anticipating anything," he said. "I'm just happy to come out and play, and whatever it is, it is. I've been dealing with a lot in my life. I've overcome a lot of obstacles and this is just another one I have to overcome." The obstacle here would appear to be Mr. Jackson's really, really, really poor judgment. Mr. Jackson is a well-paid professional basketball player. Part of the deal that comes with being a pro is acting like one off the courts too. Packing a gun and going to a place like Club Rio (Club Rio, for God's sake, what a dive), AND doing these things while on probation is not intelligent. A person who would do this is lacking judgment. Mr. Jackson has created his own obstacle here and he is not an asset to the team, no matter how well he plays. And, as another poster mentioned, there are other talented players out there. I hope the Pacer's management decides the team has taken enough hits because of this person and lets him go.

I just still can't believe this crap. I understand that these guys are very young, and in many cases, highly unintelligent. But can't the team put punishments/fines/something into effect that make it seem like a really, really bad idea to hit seedy thug-ridden strip clubs at 3am during the season/training camp? I mean... if you're paying an employee enough money... you should have the power to bring down the pain if they show blatant disregard for their jobs. Our ownership and management look so gutless in all of this. Hopefully they're just biding their time and have plans to make an example of Jackson.

Can you believe Jackson's comment, "it's just another obstacle to overcome" ? It's just another "stupid" move he's made when he's living a dream life. There are a lot of incredible young guys coming out of colleges all over the country who would step up and take his place. He may be a step faster, he may make a nice move or two on the floor. But, he has consistently proven what type of person he really is. His comments here show that he's "willing to sit on the bench" and catch a fat check for being a "screw up". I'm out of town working and am glad to not have purchased tickets for this season. I'm in Charlotte, NC and do not plan on going to the season opener here. I'm ashamed to admit to being a lifelong Pacer's Fan.
Amen. His comments are positively laughable. Another obstacle. What a victim. He's a victim at the strip club when he's out at 3am showing he doesn't give a damn about his team or teammates, and he's a victim now that he's been rightly brought up on charges. Must be nice to be a victim when you're pulling down a cool few million every year. What an imbecile.

I think that people should really get over it. so what he is a pacer player he is human he is not perfect. i am sure that some of the people posting on this board have been to a strip club or been in a fight. Just because he is a sports figure we are blasting him.
