Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, I'm sorry, they are serious? Can you believe that? The Mavs are getting taken for the WHOLE mid level exception. Hope they don't meet the dreaded Warriors again in the playoffs. Scary, Scary! Webber for sure is the missing piece. He'll give them toughness (just ask Philly, or Detroit)!

Well that would be just fine since the warrior team that beat them last year was completelly dissmantled in the offseason. Thanks Chris Mullin. Now we can get back to the finals.

edo bg,

Your team rocks! Sorry about heaping on them, but Cuban sometimes makes it hard to root for them. I think resigning Stackhouse was a solid move and staying pat was even better. I have to admit I'm not a big C-Webb fan, but this team should return to prominence this season. They are not missing a thing.

I don't know how i feel about mark cuban. In one hand, he is a rich snob, in the other hand he is a self made rich snob which makes it better. I guarantee you that 99.9 percent of fans of other teams would love for him to purchase their teams. He gets the job done. C Webb would be a nice fit for mavs., but i'd rather see somebody that can play a little bit of defense, and some jump shooters. If you've watched the playoffs last year, Dirk was triple teamed a lot and his teammates did not make the warriors pay. This is why i like the addition of Eddie Jones to the team. I hope they go after Sasa Pavlovic a little harder and sign him to a contract before Cavs resign him. Sasa kid is an up and coming player, and would fit perfectly with mavs.

You a laker or Warriors fan. That kid Belinelli that warriors drafted may be the best player taken in the draft. I'we been watching him for about two years. His potential is unlimited.

edo bg,

I'm a huge Suns and Lakers fan, but I'm also a fan of the game. I agree Belinelli will be one of the good ones. It should be an interesting season, but I'm looking forward to team USA kicking some you-know-what in a few weeks.

Your suns got robbed with that suspension in the playoffs last year. As far as the Lakers go... I don't see where is this team going. Jermaine O'neal is not the answer.

edo bg,

My Suns did get robbed, but hey, it's a new season and they still have Stoudamire and Marion. I like Grant hill, so I'm good with that too. I couldn't agree more about Jermaine. I'd rather see the Lakers package Brown's expiring contract and garbage and trade for a solid player, not a superstar. I'm also happy D. Fisher is back. He's a heart and soul guy. Lakers could use a bit of that. Also, I agree the world is catching up, but team USA is really including some of the big guns this time.

Team USA was made of superstars last couple of times, yet they didn't win. International players are not as selfish as players fron USA national team. Team USA will be lucky to get a bronze medal.

I prefer that C-Webb not come back to the Stones this year. He's simply not athletic enough anymore. I still love him but minutes are limited and I'd rather see a young player develope than an old one fade away.

man your pistons are going to be kicking themselves in the head for letting darko go. You've developed a player just to let him go to the competition once he is finished product. Not very smart money.

Well, Posey is gone now to the Celtics.
MAVS....why the hell would they wants some old ones....they got whooped by the young guns in the playoffs...Cuban adn the Mavs need to wake up and do some tinkering...not get some old folks adn mess up the chemistry

Not this time around. We have some young guns who are trying to prove themselves and they can play. Kobe's killer instinct is hard to match.

I am not impressed with anything they've done so far. They've beaten some teams so far however none of them were top 10 in the world. And win over argentina last night. Argentina did not have their top 5 players and only lost by 15. Once team USA runs into Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Latvia, and other big Euro teams, we will see how good they really are.
