I am not one to bemoan the center position on this young developing roster. There is no rush to simply fill the position. As fans, I think we have plenty to look forward to with Dorell and Cook still young and evolving, and now Beasley and Chambers. Few distractions with Shaq gone. Perhaps Miami could find the kind of chemistry it had with the core roster before Shaq. Eric has a great opportunity for such a young coach, not like the others who often get hopeless situations.

"We were able to squeeze three players into our mid-level, which, to me, was sort of a coup for us," said Riley

Most definitely, you addressed the need of the team, and squeezed every penny out of dollar to upgrade key positions & stretched the bench. Now, if we can find a stud in the post, for the exception we'll be strong going into the preseason. Mason may gotten away, but with this last roster need, if done right, people won't be too concerned, rather excited about the future with a new core & talented role players! GO HEAT!

Marion will be traded at first call from a contender that is desperate for his talent when they lose a key piece. That's why we're stacking up at the 3..maybe sooner but i guess it
would have happened by now. We can't afford to build around such a special
player who will only be here 1 year.
we need to devlop who will be here farther out, when we contend for title.

I think that the Miami natives will soon realize that they have received 2 great players. I am located in the heart of Kansas, and the 2 draft picks of Beasley and Chalmers are as good as any team could have done. Chalmers playes shut down defense, and Beasley can just flat out play. STOP looking for an alternate point guard and work on an agile post player to play defense. This current roster will put other teams into the ground with thier athletism(Spelling?. Remember that Chalmers shut down the #1 draft pick TWICE in as many games. Rose played point guard on a 1 and done caliber team in a cream puff conference. Give the boys the rock and let them show everyone what the heat can really do!

I hope your're right. Chalmers looks like the real deal, and we all realize what Beasley's potentials are.
Let's Go Heat!!

Udonis Haslem needs to go...he has a very inconsistent jump shot and is an offensive liability.

chalmers plays like a veteran. I think he is a better pickup than Beasley because there will be a lot of NBA power forwards that will just beat him down. But, chalmers will be a great backcourt partner of Wade. Wade likes to take over...and i think chalmers is mature enough to deal with that and also be a calming force when Wade is out of control like he often did last year. One thing for sure, this team will be exciting young athletic team that can run...with Wade, Chalmers, Beasley, Cook, Wright, Jones, Marion, Banks, Haslem, Diawara, and few others and a young coach.

They desperately needs a center and a point guard. Don't leave Wade hanging, look at all the moves Cleveland made for Lebron and Kobe the last 2 years.

I think the Heat should trade Marion for a center.

I am sick of people trying to classify Haslem as a liability. The man averages 12 points and 9 rpg. Does it sound better if he averaged a double-double. That's only one rebound away. He is 6-8 and plays his ass off every night. Keep him he is too valuable to trade.

i think the heat will need more bench players. if they have wade, marion, beasley and chalmers they can't play 48 minutes. all they need is a valuable players who can support the starters. the heat get jones and diawara a shooter and a defense specialist. do you think they will get enough?

Mourning will be back. The heat should get Jamaal. Pat also should trade Blount and a pick for Chris Wilcox from Seatle. If they do these three things with the team that they have now they will be a contender no questions asked. WADE is back, he will put up thirty plus a night no problem!

I think the heat are moving in the right direction. Chalmers is the key to how well the Heat due. Wade will be strong but he needs a point guard.

i don't think we should get rid of Udonis. He's busted his ass for this team.sure he may not be a star but he's a hometown favorite.when he makes a shot the people in the arena are almost as pleased as when wade does.marion however seems a bit out of place, trade him for a high end center or a decent center and another PG.marion just seems a bit unwelcomed, kinda like when ricky davis was with the team.but that was mainly because of his performance.with marion it just doesn't feel like he's gonna be all for the heat within the upcoming season and into next year.
