the only downside to this trade is JO going down with serious injury.
even then, we shed Banks, we have Moon, a draft pick, Beas getting more playing time, and Wright getting a fair shot..none of which would have happened with Marion on board. he was good but not that good.

dave,
love your stuff.
now that huizenga is not in charge of dolphin stadium, have the the marlins tried to re-kindle an agreement to share the dolphin stadium? they could use the money the marlins are willing to pay to help put a retractacle roof on the stadium, which is a common goal of both organizations. This would allow the surrounding area to be developed more (better value for ross) and make it more attractive for one of the few permament s.bowl sites the nfl that wayne wanted. in return, hopefully ross would provide a better revenue sharing deal on the proceeds from club seats, parking, concessions, etc.

your thoughts.....

Thanks Riley for using some patience and common since about keeping and developing young talent.
Did you and Parcells have a chat over a game of golf?
Developing young talent should be a priority with the Heat. Getting a #1 pick was a real added bonus.
I hope they continue aquiring young talent as a priority so this team can be playoff bound year after year.
Dorrel Wright's inconsistancy may have altered Riley's mind set in not trusting young players, however the emergence of Cook, Beasley and Chalmers outstanding play have probably made Riley more secure in retaining and developing younger players. Win for the future is now in place instead of win NOW at all cost.
