We've seen teams make this mistake in other sports. You make the playoffs without a key injured player, then the injured player gets back, you rush him into the lineup, and you lose. The Steelers did it with Bettis one year, the Yankees did it with Matsui and Sheffield in 2006. (Of course, I get the feeling no one in New Yorks cares about the NBA or NHL finals this year anyway)
