Orlando Magic lack a classic go-to guy, so Hedo Turkoglu has to do

In the wake of the Orlando Magic trying to treat a case of separation anxiety between Dwight Howard and his beloved basketball, is this ironic truth: The Magic don't feel they have a player who fits the NBA description of a star go-to guy. Full Story

The Magic will pull this win out. It is not going to be pretty but they are gonna grind it out and make plays down the stretch. Poise and moxie.

Hedo dont make me look bad and be strong and willful in attacking the basket. When you get mad it seems that you are playing better, so pretend Baby just hit you on the face or Rondo made a cheap push when refs were looking the other way. Either way please make me proud and knock Celtics out.

The Magic have NO CHANCE of winning this game 7 people. NONE. This will be just like the Chicago Bulls series the Celtics had in the first round. It will be another yawner...a blowout supreme.

Ah well. The Magic had a good season and they took the world champs to 7 games.

There are changes that need to be addressed for next season in order for the Magic to be considered legitimate championship contenders.

The only question is now who will win in the Eastern Conference Finals ? LeBron or the Celtics ? I am taking the Cavs in 5 or 6 games.

Anyone here who thinks the Magic even have a chance in this game is either way to overly optimistic or has a couple of screws loose.

I mean..32 and 0 when leading 3-2 in a series all time. The mystique...the fans..the media..the refs..David Stern. And you people still think the Magic have any kind of chance of winning ?

And on top of all this Patrick Ewing made a big mistake by saying the Magic will deinitely win the game.

People when Ewing makes such guarantees as he has in the past his teams have NEVER won. NEVER.

This is such a sure thing for Boston that I have already put my chips on them. Not a doubt in the world. I mean I called it way back in January.

I called this Celtics series win.

Just getting my practice in for what I will be saying after game 7.

The thing that really stinks for all Magic fans is that you all will have to come back in here and listen to the Celtic fans rant and rave about their team.

Any season ticket holder can tell you Hedo Turkoglu has proven in the last 3rd of the season and playoffs that he is not the guy. Hedo can't even make 50% of layups. His shooting is terrible from 3 and 2 point areas. He has high turnovers many of which do not get recorded. He cannot pass the ball. Van Gundy has him control the ball and he is slow and has no plan. Against Philly he could not even get the ball past center court in 8 seconds. When is Van Gundy going to open his eyes and find another plan or does Stan want to prove Shaq is right?

Let Hedo Go!

Suck it up with MP and Battie next year, and save the money for the next off season.

I think that Courtney Lee or Rashard Lewis have to be one of our go to guys in a tight game. I agree with the previous post. Hedo is no hero when it come to playing consistant and sound basketball. I have never seen a player take so many driving shots and just throw it up without any chance of scoring,so many times. Rashard is good but he has to be in a more focused attack mode, where he drives more to the basket instead of those turn around jumpers. Personally, I like the rookie Courney Lee as the go to guy. He is very aggressive. He doesn't just throw the ball up and he has nerves of steel.

GO Magic!!!!!!!

Hey Jim I thought you were banned from posting here. I guess its pretty easy to just change your name and post the same garbage day after day. Shut up no one wants to here your negative talk about the Magic. Go start your own blog and shut the F up. This is one of the main reasons what's wrong with most Orlando fans they never have hope. Get out of your seats and cheer for your ORLANDO MAGIC.

Wait a minute. This is weird. You called it way back in January, but didn't even start posting on this board until about a month ago.

That means....this login is an alias for someone else. Hmmmmmmm.....

QUOTE: Says Pierce, "Turkoglu is very crafty with the things he does to draw fouls. I tip my hat, because I do some of the same things ... things you just can't teach. He knows how to get the ref's attention."

REALLY??? Pierce or ANYONE on the Celtics is calling out someone on the MAGIC for trying to manipulate the refs??? They taught the freakin' class on that crap! They get twice as many foul calls.
How do you trip over your own damn two feet and get a foul called on the other team? Ask Rajon Rondo.
How do you shoot a ball that barely grazes the net and get the 24 second clock reset? Ask Boston.
How do you elbow, choke, mug and otherwise assault the other team and not only not get suspended, but barely get a foul called? Ask Kendrick "Orc" Perkins?

The One & Only Go to Guy is that white quota kid.

Bring on the 4th quarter and watch that kid shine!

As for Hedo never has been worth a crap for any team he played for, and still isn't worth a crap. So many sucky players on this team to even consider them Finals material. Maybe stay with D12 and do a total makeover they can be the Joan Rivers of the NBA.

I would to see Lewis go back to the 3 and somebody intelligent, tough, steady and energetic take over the 4-Gortat! I would just let Turk go or trade him for a couple of draft picks 3 years from now....

Be the Magic we saw in the regular season. Don't let the negativity of some "fans" get in your heads. You can close out this series with an emphatic win!

As a season ticket holder I think the reason the Magic won 2 home games against Boston was the 7 year old girl who sang the National Anthem both times. The crowd really gets into it. When she stepped on the floor Thursday we all went nuts. I hope she sings at home before Sunday's game and does her emphasis on ..the land of the Free and the home of the Brave. Wow!

i just cant understand people saying "let hed go",
since it is obvious that contract of lewis is that high, to let hedo go means magic will be worse because imho they cant get a better player then him
even lewis is a far better sf than hedo,
the 118 mil contract issue will make magic stuck,
altough it seems impossible
the only way magic survive in the near future is to trade lewis
