You can't deny the fact that this was probably one of the best games the Heat has played this entire season. Not to mention the Heat are actually making some progress and working better together.

Wright blocks Iverson's game winning shot?!

what a let down. why not call a timeout and set up a play in overtime. and the heat wonder why they havent won 10 games in 3 months yet

I really just want a win. I can't take any more "close ones". And i like the fact that we'll get a good pick, but for the love of GOD can we please just get a couple wins?
Overall though, stoked about Marion, hes a keeper.

Marion has been playing great. But I still dont see why most people are like we made progress even though we lost. The Heat has been losing the same way all year long. How many games have we loss by less than 10 better yet 5 ? How many game clutch shots did Wade miss this year? How many games did we show progress but came up short?

We cant blame Shaq any more, he is gone and we are still losing. And we cant blame Marion because he is obviously ballin. But whats the problem Riley? I know we got a lottery pick but lets win some games. Just cause you have the worst record dont mean you guaranteed a top pick. Remember Celtics last year...

Ya don't listen to me........the season is a loss...

Marion is a start......but now we need more trades and draft picks to refresh the team.

I think that is the idea. Hopefully Miami wins in the lottery and picks up Rose (or perhaps Beasley) and Riley attracts a good free agent or makes a trade or two.
Obviously it is a work in progress.

Let see SHAQ will do with Sun the only good thing Pat did was the trade of Shaq in bring Marion and Banks but we need a center tall like Shaq much younger and fast go Marion and Banks

Can't blame everything on Shaq no more! The worst is yet to come.

Carma is a hell of a thing.

So much for Shaq making players better! Shawn Marion has made Dorell Wright and a lot of other guys look better! It is so clear that this should be Shawn Marion's team not Wade's.

Oh and Riley coached a horrible game yesterday! There were a lot of shots Dwayne Wade shouldn't have been taking yesterday! Riley slowed the pace way too much! Run Riles, Run, you have the team to do it now, I think even Ricky Davis could benefit from this.

loses again. Anybody think the Heat would lose 23 out of 24 with either Kobe or LeBron in Wade's place. Or the Lakers and Cavs being as good as they are with Wade in their place ??? Not a chance. Many of these games come down with Wade going 1 on 5 way, way too much and the Heat losing. Riley better start setting up Marion at crunch time.

Wade enjoyed early success with his title but it seems his game has regressed due to injuries, fame, and fortune. His erratic play, pouty demeanor, and swiss cheese defense needs to be addressed. Upcoming trades and draft picks will help the Heat but the current league leader in turnovers will soon be known as T-Wade.

the Heat may have lost. but Marion is showing why he's such a good player - forget Shaq - the Heat still needs to have good effort and output from all FIVE starters, not just 2. Improvement is coming and so will the wins.

i'm tired of reading all the headlines the sun-sentinal writers come up with. yes, its been a bad year for florida fans all around, but it doesnt help by glooming the situation more. perhaps instead of saying something like "heat waste marions energy in ot loss" it could be something a little more inspiring. like "for the first time the heat actually looked like an nba team." it's easy to see progress we've had w/in 2 games. it's become at least fun to see what's in store. so hyde and winderman need to be a little more supportive instead of always pushing situations as far down as they can.

I have been to about a dozen games this year. Wade has been trying to do it all himself the whole year. I'm not defending the losing but how many nights has Wade had 25+ points in a loss. Wades best game comes when he is able to drive and dish and/or take shots in rhythm. This is a team sport. Wade cant play with a 1 on 5 mentality. With Wade getting healthier and more players filling out the boxscore stats, Wade will be able to be more of a facilitator. From the looks of things we still need a point guard though. I'm glad we lost. With the way Marion and D-Wright are infusing the New Look Up-tempo Heat with energy, we can play ourselves out of top lottery probabilities. I'd really like to see Beasley in a Heat uniform next year. Can you imagine the athleticism of that team!
