And why was he behind the wheel of an automobile? That took the life of another person? That is ridiculous. He needs to be in prison. Not playing professional basketball, That was crazy, and insensitive.

I hope the authorities consider vehicular homicide charges against him. Obviously he didn't learn anything from having his license suspended all those times. And don't forget that he had a wreck while driving someone else's vehicle in the past (might have been Carmello Anthony's vehicle, I don't remember exactly). Mr. Smith should not be driving at all and needs to be held accountable for his friend's death since he caused the accident and seems to have a pattern of careless driving. Also, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt and neither was his passenger. Passengers in my vehicle don't ride with me unless they wear their seatbelt; it's not open for discussion.

Since he's a basketball player he'll probably get off the hook (same as celebrities) but I do hope he's held accountable. This death was totally avoidable.

Instead of showing the person who was responsible for Andre Bell's death, can you please show us a picture of the victim?

I'm wondering if it was suspended so many times because of fines he didn't take care of. How else can that be explained?

You guys are tough. What happened is horrible but he's just a kid. Apparently a hard-headed kid because he doesn't learn from his mistakes very quickly but he's only 21 years old. I don't know about you, but I did some pretty stupid stuff when I was 21. I never killed anyone but he didn't intend to nor did he try to hide the fact that it happened.

These guys should NOT be treated as role models. You don't even know them. Work to have your kids look up to you - not some celebrity.

Just another THUG who will blame it all on his childhood conditions. Horrible role model for anyone. I hope they throw the book at Smith and he pays the entire price for this avoidable tragedy.
