That's wounderful that he gives back and goes home. Most don't do that at all. I love to see all of the basketball players do that. It's nice to be a fan of all the Colorado teams, but I love the Denver Nuggets the most. Let me tell you how long I have been a fan I remember David Thomas and Alex English don't for get Dan Issel and others. Denver is a great place to live and we have great teams. GO NUGGETS!!!

Thanls Carmelo. Events like these are important for local youth and for the national image of Baltimore. Now if someone could persuade the idiotic local politicians to make saving the Preakness a priority. An annual event of the Preakness's financial and prestige magnitude would be fully appreciated and cherised by any other city. Instead, Bmore is about to throw away this treasure. Why are Bmore's politicians and civic leaders such small time yokels? Look what a visionary such as Anthony Williams did for the city of Washington D.C. In a mere 3 years he took the city from bankruptcy to having annual surpluses, each year bigger than the previous year. He built a state of the art Convention Center, turned downtown into the 2nd most vibrant on the east coast, single-handedly got a major league baseball team, a new baseball only stadium which will be situation only a few yards from an expanded subway stop and stole the NAACP headquarters from Baltimore. Now that he is a private citizen perhaps Baltimore's small time politicians may put up sufficient money to hire him as a consultant.
