ok jj lovers THAT is why he is not a nba player...anyone can make a few open threes in a 25 point blowout but it is a entirely different story when the game is close...jj is 2 for his last 12 and will be back to riding the bench very very soon. i would not be surprised if he doesnt' play at all next game. The magic need someone who can play when there is pressure.

i blame it on the non-goaltend call when rondo "blocked" pietrus' shot off the glass.

well, the magic is a great road team, next game will be the one time they need to win one away - they win it, theyll come home and finish it off right. i just hope they don't feel deflated after this heartbreaker.

good point, i forgot about all his open missed shots... they should powerbomb him into a pile of thumbtacks.

on a positive note, how bout dwight with those two clutch free throws. he did that the last time he was at the line in the final seconds of a game too. we need to play him more like young shaq and still go to him instead of making him a non factor late in games.

The pressure is still on the C's. I expect if we win game 6, so if we win tomorrow night, we'll win the series. Otherwise it goes to game 7.

What the hell was this? Over 11 seconds left and the Magic don't foul???? Who's bone-headed mistake was that? At least give yourself another chance. To quote Ren Hoek, "You EEEEEEDIOT!"

well gortat played well but didn't get much of a chance. wish stan would switch it up a little and play him more along side dwight if he's playing well. goal tending calls were a joke. our 3 point fg% is a joke. fouls on dwight were a terrible. rondo just flops around. i can't stand rafer and wish he would get suspended again.

Did anyone here notice Big Baby Davis push that kid to the floor after hitting the game winning shot ?

I don't care how big he is, if that was my son that he pushed he would be limping around for the rest of the series.

Never in my life have I seen so many calls in a playoffs been called to seemingly help a team progress. I myself, was extremely skeptical of the conspiracy theorists with them thinking the NBA were trying to rig the playoffs. But the more they progress, the more I really do start to wonder...

I am done with the nba and it's corrupt system. The officials tonight were once again terrible. If I wanted friggin rigged sporting events I would watch wrestling. I have tried to give the league the benefit of the doubt over the years; however after watching the officials give the celtics four points on two terrible calls (one goaltending call against the magic and another not called ... please watch replays of the two calls for irrefutable evidence), amongst many terrible calls in this particular game, I am done. The Kings game several years ago against the lakers was the most obvious example of a rigged sporting event. This game did not match that but was stolen nonetheless by a league in dire financial straits willing to sell out for the almighty dollar. I will no longer support this rigged system. The nba is dead to me.

around six minutes left those damn magic players had three straight opportunities to tie the game up by simply just taking the ball to the basket, instead they settled for a contested three pointer and then anthony johnson goes and misses two free throws in a row. all those points we missed really lost the game right there.

I'd rather let Big Baby shoot than Pierce or Allen, but we left him too wide open....he can knock down an open shot....Dwight switched to Pierce and Rashard was a little late getting over to Big Baby, but he probably was expecting Pierce to try to win it even if he was covered instead of passing. Pierce made the right play, Davis made the shot. You have to give them credit. We missed too many shots in the last 3 minutes of the game, although Dwight did knock down 2 big free throws. Turk's shooting was off in the 4th. That hurt us.

Now about this game...too many 3 point shots. This is the reason for this loss tonight. Take away the 3 pointers and the Magic shot 50 percent tonight. Also they left too much time on the clock after Rashard made the 2 free throws. They should have wound the clock down to about 3 or 4 seconds before attempting a shot.

If that's the case, let's can Turk too. And who left Davis open in the corner??? Lewis. Let's can him also. Yes, JJ was not hitting tonight but look around and think about the other players also.

Joey Crawford and the Celtics are hard to beat....The Rondo "block" that was a goaltend. The phantom call on D12 when Fat Baby triped over his own 2 feet and not to be outdone Rondo falling over his 2 feet and getting a tripping call. The ref's in the NBA are by far the worst in all major sports....you can tell the fix is on. Orlando is just not a big enough draw and NBA needs to have Boston, Clev and LA in the finals.
