Blowout loss for the Magic tomorrow night in Boston. Then they win game 6 to force a game 7 back in Boston, where they lose the series.

Boston then goes on to play the Cavaliers where they will lose in 5 or 6 games. Then the Cavaliers go on to play the Lakers in the Finals.

LeBron will then will the championship because his team is the only team remaining in the playoffs that is totally committed to playing defense.

i like how all that sounds...but the nuggets have been very commited to playing defense so far in the playoffs.

Yes you are right. The Nuggets have improved dramatically on defense. However I can not see them taking the Lakers in a 7 game series with the Lakers having homecourt advantage.

I do admit as well that a LeBron vs Kobe Finals would be tremendous. I myself would be rooting for LeBron in that series. He has worked hard this season and makes everyone around him much better. Plus Coach Brown is a class act. Phil and Kobe have enough rings already.

The Orlando Magic have the talent to win this. It will be sad if they can't man up and get the job done. Honestly so far in the playoffs they haven't been impressive very often.

Game 5 is huge and not just for this playoff series. If this team can't come out finally and put together a solid 48 minute effort then this playoff will go down as a letdown in my mind. It already has been in some respects.

Tomorrow night is a surefire loss, not only that, but it will be embarrassing to see a SUPERBLY coached Celtics team drub an ABYSMALLY coached Magic team.

Benny I asked you on the other thread why you thought SVG was so bad. Just curious why you are so down on him.

If he was horrible, then our coach wouldn't have lost to his team the other night...einstein. It's quite obvious with the way you comment that you're just watching basketball based on how the players play and not on how the teams are coached.

The Magic WILL NOT get blown out tonight. They should be ticked off about the other night, especially the way the Celtics celebrated like they've never been in that position before. I can't imagine the Magic will shoot that poorly 2 games in a row. (Not a prediction, just a guess.)

Kombanwa, Takanori-san. Let me ask you this question: If you were in SVG's shoes, with 4 minutes left in the game and the opposing team has gone over the foul limit, and you need to score badly knowing that the jump shots weren't falling, what would you do? What would you instruct your players to do?

Can't blame people predicting because the Magic are so predictable. Cheers.

I'll bet you also predicted the Magic would lose game 6 against Philly too, didn't you?

I think it's funny how I keep reading about how the Celtics were 2-2 in their last series at this point and went on to win their first round, like it was some huge achievement. But no one ever mentions that the Magic were also 2-2 in the first round at this point, AND the Magic won their first round in 6 games (not 7) and needed NO overtimes to do it, while the Celtics needed 7 games and 7 OTs against a lower ranked team than our opponent. The Magic can win this series, but the NBA really would hate that, because we've always matched up well against the Cavs. They would hate a Magic/Lakers final.

Unfortunately the Celtics will continue to get more media attention than the Magic. Even if the Magic win the series, the focus will still be on Boston. I hate to say it, but to ESPN and the rest of the media, a Celtic loss is bigger news than a Magic win.

Well Celtics are favored by 2.5 points.

But really the Magic shooters are due a good game and I don't think we'll get pushed around in the paint like last game ...

So I predict a big win for the Magic 102 - 87.

Or maybe a loss? I'm not Jim.

Turkoglu needs to get his a*s reacquainted with the bench for us to win.

Does he even understand the round thing he's bouncing is a basketball?

Does he know there's a game going on?

Is he on meds?

Doesn't SVG see any of this?

Wanna bet on whether Turkoglu opt out?

Is there life after death?
