Knick fan since 1969. Everyone has short memories around here -- the absolute worst was Layden (the guy before Isiah). At least Isiah has made moves-true a few worked (David Lee, Balkman, maybe Curry, Randolph) and many didnt. Layden did NOTHING for something like 3-4 years.

This Dolan guy is a complete rich-kid moron...never had a brain, never will.

Until this team is sold, those long-lost days will likely never return to the Garden.

Oh...the pain of being a Knick/Jets/Muts fan since I was a little kid.......absolutely awful since 1973 (with exception for 1986)

Knick fans---Seem the only real solution fans have is
STOP GOING TO GAMES AT THE GARDEN and watching MSG. See if empty seats and lost revenue send a louder message

Not everyone has a short memory. Followed the Knicks since the early 1960's when finally Willis Reed came in to change the franchise. No one on the present team could tie Reed's shoes. Isiah is as bad as it gets short of Ted Stepien of Cleveland fame (infamy). He has squandered so many draft picks (3 unprotected first rounders!) and money in putting together a miserable team with no future in sight. Checkets helped bury the team with the Ewing trade, and Layden maintained the status quo of sub-mediocrity while further compromising the future with the McDyess for Camby and a #1 fiasco. When discussing incompetent Knick GM's, an honorable mention at least has to go to Scotty Stirling, who in the late 1980's traded an unprotected Knick first rounder for Gerald Henderson. This is the same idiot who had several years earlier traded an unprotected first rounder to Boston to acquire the same Gerald Henderson, a marginal point guard. That one turned out to be the #2 pick in the 1987 draft, which Boston used to take the ill-fated Len Bias. There has been no shortage of incompetents running the Knicks since their inception, dating back to Ned Irish who througout the 1950's and early 1960's maintained the Knicks as a last place team with the likes of Jumpin' Johnny Green attempting to defend Wilt Chamberlain. But no prior GM has squandered so much as Isiah in terms of money and draft picks to assemble a team with no present, no future, and a "star" player who scores better with interns than he does on the court.
