Mark Jackson? Has he even coached a kids basketball game? Mark is likeable, I'll give him that. He will have his hands full at the start and could become easily discouraged. Van has left once. I've done the quit and return thing and its not any better the second run, so Van is out. Mark didn't have much speed but seemed to help his teams win without much natural talent, he utilized a tear drop shot and his vision to make passes to help him be a very good player. Maybe he can use his ability to overcome his handicaps as a coach as well. Alrighty then, Jackson it is. So be it. Like I said before it doesn't matter who it is the team will be much improved and Isiah won't get any credit for laying the foundation. Like Scott Layden the sports writers flushed him out with the zombie fans behind them. Jackson is set for at least 10 years if they make a good pick in the draft, keep their core players and trade Randolf for a shot blocker.

Whatever happens don't trade David Lee. Everyone else can go!

Despite Van Gundy's support of Mark Jackson, it is clear, Mark Jackson is no Jeff Van Gundy.

Here's a new award to replace the sixth man award. Lets have a Jeff Van Gundy Award for the player, coach or analyst who talks the most and says the least.
