It makes Cavs games very difficult to watch, and kinda makes you think why Reghi is off announcing MAC games on ESPN 8. We miss you Michael. I know youre best buds, but Dan GIlbert - please put an end to the McLoed era in Cleveland! AC knows basketball, and I love to hear his analysis, but he is hard to listen to at times. I also miss Reghi - he was much more passionate about what he was doing.

As I've posted previously, the trade worked very nicely into the schedule. Was that the Washington Generals team on the floor to the Clevetown Globetrotters? The Cavs came out ON FIRE, almost like Cirque de Soleil. There seemed to be a total joy to be on the court, the players so alive & acrobatic, moving like a blur, passing bombs down court. And they might be able to maintain that kind of pace with the bodies available --with more to come! Now another "practice" game and then a real test with the Celtics. Who's not interested, raise your hand--Cavs basketball just got a whole lot more fun!!!!

the team is much deeper and picked up some needed experience in positions needing an upgrade. my only concern is how the minutes shake out after varejao, pavlovic, and gibson come back--it is possible for a team to have too much depth--look at the bulls trying to play a 12 man rotation.
lets be honest, this team will always be a contender because we have lebron, but now we have veteran role players and that may be all we need. bring on the celtics or pistons and dont forget we have beaten some of the best teams in the west without a full team and without this improved cast.

I would have to disagree - I have NBA League Pass and I get to hear other broadcast tandems. Even though AC ans McLoad aren't that good, some of the others that I've heard are brutal. I do agree about Michael Rehgi - he has to be one of the best TV play-by-play basketball broadcasters that I've ever heard. I'm still puzzled by the Cavs decision to get rid of him. Also, even though AC isn't that good and he sounds like he's talking with a mouthful of food half the time, I still think he's better than Mark Price was. average listner wrote: Is it just me, or is the Fred McLoed/A.C. tandem the worst broadcasting team EVER?? Check this out: http://www.petitiononline.com/CAVSBALL/petiti... Aside from McLeod (who is dumb as a bag of rocks) and AC, however, last night was a blast. The bottom line is that both the Cavs and Bulls signed free agents a few years ago who did not fit their systems. We know all about Hughes, and Big Ben is only really valuable when he can play off of a good-shooting, post threat big man, like Rasheed ... or Z. It was really cool to see Big Ben in a Cavs jersey, and I agree with many that despite his bad shooting, watching Delonte West operate was the highlight for me. This could be big. GO CAVS!

Just wait for AV to return. This team is unstoppable with the new players playing in support of LeBron & Z. Thank you Mr. Danny Ferry for getting us the talent that is needed to win a NBA championship. It can only get better as they play together over the next 26 games. GO CAVS !!! So now you are actually calling LeBron by his proper name. What happened to your cute nickname of "Leboob"? Why change that now? How does this trade change what you think of him? Or were you just using that stupid nickname to get attention (of course you were).

According to an unreliable source, the Bulls firmly believe they got the better end of this deal... further evidence that the name "Paxson" is apparently a synonym for "moron". WHAT A TRADE!! If you watched yesterday's game, you may have noticed the announcers mentioned that the Orlando Magic's owner (or GM or coach) was saying that this trade helps his team. His team wasn't even involved in the trade, so how does it help them? It would appear that he thinks the Cavs are not as good as before, and that this will help Orlando retain the #3 spot in the East. Yeah right, that makes sense. I don't care for Mr. Cavalier, and preferred Reghi over McLeod by a mile, but they aren't the worst in the NBA. Scan NBA League Pass on a busy night in the association, and you'll see McLeod is about average and AC is a little below average. Every team's broadcasters have a big homer as the color man, which I actually find less annoying than national broadcasters not doing their homework on teams.

If he gives the Cavs 10 rebounds, hustles, and plays tough defense, that's all the Cavs need from him, and the fans will love him. Time will tell, but yesterday was pretty much perfect. It may make a big difference in Cleveland, where he isn't being depended on to be the only player in the paint, and he be looked on to make rotations on defense (something Drew Gooden was never good at) instead of being the primary shot blocker.

Finally, LeBron may have some help. I'm very happy for him. It used to kill me watching him play his heart out, then lose because Hughes couldn't make a 10 foot jump shot. Hopefully, those days are over.

Mike, Ben Wallace is NOT a bum. The guy hated Scott Skiles, was misused in Chicago (He's not Shaq, he's Rodman with more talent), and was tired of getting booed every night because his team couldn't make a jumpshot to save their lives. He'll be a perfect fit here. We'll see if he's a bum or not next week, when Cleveland and Chicago meet twice. Can you say 2-0??
Chicago is a miserable team this year, and the biggest irony of this deal is the two duds you got from us will fit in beautifully. So enjoy Bert and Ernie (err, Larry and Drew), and try not to pull your hair out when Larry goes 4-19 from the field every night for a solid month and Drew forgets where he is halfway through the game.
What a trade, what a trade, what a trade!!
