Grant Hill is the wealthiest welfare recipient ever. How many tens of millions did he make by sitting on his candy-a$$? It makes sense that he is also a liberal democrat.

Hahahaha Grant!!!!! Great job dissing a team that stuck by you in your darkest hours, just for you to leave for a so called chance to win a title. You'll be known just like your old signing buddy T-Wack to never get out of the first round. Next year, you and Shaq will be a year older and you'll have a new coach... best of luck w/ that!!!!!!:)

The Wizards played a critical game without Arenas and actually win...

So I'm thinking: How good is to have an All Star Player like Rashard that dind't ruin team chemestry, didn't complain about playing out of position or taking few shots, do the dirty works... didn't talk too much in a selfish blog...

No hate for Arenas, he's a great talent, but very often this isn't enough to win.

Yes, twice.

He left Detroit for greener pastures. Detroit goes on to be the elite team in the East.

Then he leaves Orlando, which will be an elite team in the East for many years.

Seems to be a pattern.:-)

Everybody right now is giving a lot of props to SVG, but what about Otis?

Looking back at the deadline, a lot of us (including myself) were absolutely upset about not making a trade.

Those were the most important moves:

- Golden State signs Chris Webber (don't need to make any comment about that)
- L.A. Lakers acquire Pau Gasol (the only very good trade, but only cause it was a stole)
- San Antonio signs Damon Stoudamire and Kurt Thomas (the first one almost didn't play, the latter is a good backup )
- Feb. 6 Phoenix acquires Shaquille O'Neal (the can't beat SA anyway, they played ugly losing the title of most amusing team too, and scre*wed up payroll for the future)
- Atlanta acquires Mike Bibby (they're making the playoffs, but only as a eight seed in a weak conference, and didn't seem to have improved so much)
- Dallas signs Jason Kidd (they gave away the future for the present, and now they haven't nothing)
- Cleveland acquires Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, plus Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West (difficult to judge, a lot depends on how far they'll go in the playoffs)
- Boston signs PJ Brown and Sam Cassell (old role players playing little minutes and searching for a ring)

Few moves worked at the end of the day, so I have to apologize with Otis... staying put could be a better move sometimes.

BTW, anyone right now is still missing Grant, Darko or Trevor?

I really hope this will be a pattern, and we can close the circle with Detroit right now... it would be good to accomplish only a part of what the Pistons do in the last years.

BTW, why anyone in the Sentinel is giving an update on Brian Cook injury?

We survived the first round without him, but Toronto is not a force with the post players (excluding Bosh), but the Pistons are another story, and our rotation is very short right now.

Hill running away to chase a ring was a true blessing. It finally allowed this team to grow. instead of 7 years of will he or wont he.

Otis Smith shouldnt be praised at all. We got extremely lucky that Otis and the Magic Brass didnt get their first choice of coach when Billy Donovan got cold feet.

I say thank you Grant and Billy, you did us a huge favor!

Darko yeah, It would've been nice to have darko back up D12 instead of Foyle, Whose actually losing his minutes to Gorat, Which I actually predicted b/c of his energy and ability to defend perimeter oriented PF/C's, which is a growing trend I might add (Bosh, Bargnanni, Dyce (more mid range) and Wallace.) All guys that cant shoot the ball. Trevor was too raw for me. Darko could block shots defend and can bring opposing teams big man out of the paint.
