1. Ariza should have been guarding Barbosa.
2. Garrity should never have left the bench against Phoenix
3. Dwight should have been on the bench to rest when Amare' was out, Foyle could not handle him.

Why do people always get career highs against the magic...I hate that.

The magic played so bad ( with the exception of Howard) that I left the game with 6 min left.

Where was Bogans tonight??? on the bench b/c he couldn't stop Barbosa. The Suns defended the 3 point line pretty good, so that makes me thing if we are really good enough. I know that we don't have a team to beat the Spurs, Suns, Mavs, Rockets and Pistons, but if any other team defends the 3 so well....can we beat them???? I was really disappointed tonight and there are no excuses. The Suns have been playing on the east for a week and played last night. The magic with many back to backs were back home!

We need to sign a big man ASAP

Great seats tonight at the game. Right behind the basket. The best part of the night was seeing the Magic Dancers. They were the only thing worth watching on this night as the Magic blew another one at home to a far superior team. It just goes to show how far this team has to go in order to be mentioned among the elit teams of the NBA.

Let me get this strait. This was a "HOME" game. We just got off a four game road swing in which we left our hearts out there. Then we have to come home with one of the west elite waiting for us in our house? I debate anyone to find a team (other than the Cavs) that has traveled this much in this young season. This team is good......this was a set up game. Hope the Suns like ole Grantie......he will fail you come crunch time. That train is never late. Go Magic!

This was the Sun's fourth road game and the second game in two nights.

As someone said to me when I pointed out white I thought was a weakness - THE magic don't need fans like the ones above

Wow. Pretty poor, aside from

1) Dwight, and

2) Arroyo - was great to see Van Gundy sit Nelson and play Carlos when it was obvious that Jameer was struggling, and Arroyo was playing well.

3) Ariza - first big minutes of the season and he did well.

Other than that, forgettable.(Was also quite pleased that Lewis showed some rebounding and passing when his shot wasn't falling). Lewis/Turk and Hill/Marion pretty much canceled each other out. None of them played very well.

But better teams than Orlando will lose to Phoenix this year. The key is how we react next time on the floor. Bring on the Sonics.

So another powerhouse team for the Magic to play, and another beatdown delivered. Hopefully we can get a worthwhile player with that injury exception. Chris Webber maybe??? We need more depth behind the starting 5 and if one of our stars is having a bad night thats when you try people like Ariza. We for sure will reach the eastern playoffs but the magic are a soft offensive team. Until we beat a "for real" team then all the things they said about the magic in the pre season mags are true........Prove me wrong ..........Prove me wrong

After I watched the game, I looked at the two team's numbers and asked myself, how did we get beat so bad? The Magic only turn the ball 3 more times, committed 2 less fouls, Had 13 more foul shots (the Suns only had 5 Foul Shots!) Shot 3 pointers better than the Suns, Outrebounded the Suns and had the same amount of offensive rebounds. The Suns only made 4 more 3 pointers. Of course, some of these numbers probably happened in garbage time.

Then you look at the the worst number, 11 missed free throws.

Too bad it wasted a monster game by Dwight.

Okay, so we got beat and beat good! This is what Van Gundy needs to help really evaluate his team. Unlike thickhead Hill, VG will make adjustments as the season moves along. And the adjustments will vary depending on who the Magic are playing.

Did the Suns travel to China? Just sticking up for my team. The type of fan the Magic don't need are the ones trying to fight with fellow fans on a message board.

So we're 5-2 going into a home game against winless Seattle and have thus far lost to two championship contenders. Honestly, we could be in a far worse position; and I think most predicted we would be at this point, albeit early in the season. Our guys need these two days off to recoup.

I think the Magic are doing just fine. They weren't supposed to beat the Suns but I would have liked to have seen a more competitive game. Please, please get rid of the worthless Garrity.

Why would Detroit fans have booed Hill? They saved millions and millions of dollars by having him defect to Orlando to sit on a bench for the better part of 9 - 10 years.

A great observation. Seems like all the excuses in the world pop up after the magic get whupped buy another elite team. Only positive is that magic didnt get beat by 40 as Marion shut down Lewis completly and Nelson didnt exist
