Couldn't agree with you more!!!...right. So you meant exacerbated as a opposed to exarcerbated (which may or may not be some form of web-based, forum specific, masturbation); though when I went to look up "exarcerbate" I could not find the word to confirm my suspicions.
Even more interesting is that your use of the word (mis-spelled though it might be) is also not used in correct context. Nicely done!
But I'm game for question despite this. The Magic have offered the fans a team that went from expansion to championship contention in short order. Then after a botched free agent handling with Shaq have hovered around average to mediocre for the last decade. Still, they haven't been as dreadful as say, Atlanta. Nor have they been the cheap, exploiting types like the Clippers. Even more the Magic have never been a team that has players frequenting jail or the headlines for their misconducts (though they did flirt with a fat Shawn Kemp) but have instead been one of the more prominently known teams for their excessive community service.
Interestingly enough (prepare yourself for a tie in to the actual point of this particular forum), arguably the single most relevant reason for their inability to become contenders again was the $13 to $17 million in cap spaced that was committed to the perenially injured Grant Hill.
Sure the coaching was questionable at times. There were without a doubt countless draft busts. And there were missed opportunities in free agency. But when 20% of your salary cap is tied up in a maxed out player who never plays there's only so much the rest can do.
When that very player finally gets healthy and then bolts the team for a bargain price to go play with another team...it sucks. When that player has the balls to come back and get quoted as saying he left because of playing time and a lack of interest shown by the Magic, he should be flogged.
We should be proud of out team and the Magic should also be proud of us fans.
If G. Hill had an enemy on this team I hope that enemy kicks his butt big time the the Suns visit the magic
