Butler's '6-foot-8' Gordon Hayward almost didn't get a shot at Final Four and NBA

Gordon Hayward is averaging 15.5 points and 8.2 rebounds for Butler and is considered a first-round pick in this year's NBA draft if he chooses to make the jump to the pros.

Butler isn't a team. They're four other guys hanging around Hayward. Tsk. Tsk. It is sort of amazing the kid can play every minute of the game. If there weren't so many time outs, he'd probably collapse. Which at this point, wouldn't be a bad thing. If they win today (April 3) - I hoped they get chewed alive Monday night, Hayward included.
