Well, at one point Gilbert called ME the best player in the game. I have to agree with Lebron, though.

What? Im the best in the Game. Lebron needs a title before he can even make a claim... AND Washington just threw away 100mil on Arenas. He will never be the same and wasnt that great anyway.

I have been called the greatest of my generation. When I have the ball, it's like I'm watching myself playing. My double crossover leaves my opponents laying on the floor. My blazing speed is legendary. When I'm past my defender, I majestically ascend upward towards the heavens before throwing down a thunderous jam.

Tiff - Kobe not getting surgery is exactly why he's better than Gilbert and everyone else. Kobe puts winning above his own pain. He makes sacrifices to WIN. Gilbert just cares about attention and his fat contract. Kobe will play with two destroyed fingers on his shooting hand and still find ways to win games because he's a champion. Kobe cant shoot just yet with those fingers, so what does he do? 45 assists in 4 games for a "Ball Hog". Gilbert is a 2 year wonder who's quickly becoming a distant memory of the NBA.

Gilbert was a great shooter when he was healthy, but the guy's made of glass. Moving forward next year, I wouldn't even put him ahead of Danny Granger, much less Kobe and LeBron (MVPs, championship rings and gold medals)

Arenas is the biggest robber since Jessie James, every year he gets his big pay check, plays half a year and then makes his grand decision if whether he will come back or not. The Wizards are bums, who deserve the last place they so proudly occupy.

Gilbert, it is not whether you will get hurt and miss most of a season, it is just how early you will get hurt and steal the money, AGAIN.

I am disgusted the Wizards paid this guy, and he might not even play this season. They should have let him walk, and they still would have finished last, got a lottery pick for next year, and still had money available for a proven veteran.

The Wizards season is done. they should just let Gilbert spend the rest of the season and offseason rehabing and resting the knee so that he can come back at full strength next season after the Wizard hire Jeff Van Gundy to coach them.
