You are certainly not a failure. The NBA does not make you a success. Most high school basketball stars don't make it anywhere near as far as you already have, even without the hurdles you've had to overcome. You are lucky to have a father who so clearly loved you and was proud of his family. You too are now a role model. Take what your father has taught you and use it to benefit all those who are now looking up to you. So many children never benefit fom having a father in their lives. Always cherish the years you had together and know that your father is watching over you as closely from heaven as he did when he was standing right next to you. God bless you.

your Dad did a nice job and I'm sure is smiling down on his hard working kid. Keep making him proud.

I lost my dad a little over a year ago and still cry at times thinking about him. I'm with you man. Keep working hard and I hope you make it to the NBA. My prayers are with you. Our dad's were a precious gift.

I'm a huge Dakota Wizards fan and Renaldo Major is probably my all-time favorite Wizard. The way he carries himself on-the-court and off-the-court at autograph sessions and other things you could never tell that he just went through heart surgery and the loss of his dad. He's always smiling and always interacting with the fans, especially the kids. Renaldo is such an inspiration. It seems like he's constantly giving God all the glory for all the great things that have happened to him and I absolutely love that.
Keep your head up, Renaldo. We fans in Dakota know what you can do and we know that you belong in the NBA. Just keep playing hard like you always do, trust in the Lord, and remember all the good times you had with your dad. I'll be praying for you.

Wow.. it said I'm from Sioux Falls. To clarify, I'm not.. I'd be a Sioux Falls Skyforce fan, not a Wizards fan, if I were from Sioux Falls.
