If we didn't win this game, then I believe we shouldn't even deserve being in the 8th spot. Just a couple more wins and we can seal this final spot.

Good win for the Magic. Hopefully, they will be able to use this momentum and get into the playoffs. Go Magic!!

Why the heck was Diener on the inactive list for his homecoming? Come on Coach Hill. Take Garrity off the active list and give the kid some burn!

Wow, two games in a row have ended with excellent wins. Orlando finally seem to be keeping their focus against the teams they are meant to beat.

And how's about the point guards combining for 18 of the Magic's 36 assists last night, and only 4 turnovers? Incedible - Hill decides play a system that suits them, and all of a sudden, Jameer, Carlos, and even Keyon are dropping dimes everywhere. Go figure....

Don't flatter yourselves Magic. The Bucks were an injury depleted shell of themselves. These are the type of games they should have been winning all season instead of waiting until the final 7 games. They still have Detroit and Philly to play, and can still crumble.

I think they will play well against Detroit. They might just win.

Isn't it great when Coach Hill lets his assistant's plan the games. 2 in a row now against Team's decemanted with injuries. Let's see what happens now at Detroit & Philly.

16 dunks and 14 layups says what kind of a team we were playing against. The last two wins mean nothing. So is the game in DET who are not gonna risk any injuries. PHI though is playing for pride and confidence for the nest season, and that game could be a good measuring stick.

So many good things happened last night that I don't know where to start. Let me address observations in the forum about how the Bucks were undermanned and decimated. Well, when you play a team that's down, especially during a playoff run, you put your foot on that team's throat, squeeze and don't let them get up. That's the kind of killer instinct that has been missing from the Magic all season.
Also, it was good to see Jameer and Carlos look to dish first and shoot later. It helps keep everyone on the floor alert and into the game.
I saw the guards setting Howard up for success rather than turnovers. By putting him in a position to slam or put up those quick hooks, it keeps him from trying to dribble close to the basket and turning it over. He still needs to get rid of the ball quicker when he feels the double and triple team coming.
Finally, that's two straight monster games by Turk. Opposing coaches will have nightmares if Turk gets hot in time for the playoffs.
As for the Pistons, I think they will come with their A game Wednesday because they want to make a statement to the Magic, if indeed these two teams will be meeting in the first round.
The Magic know that, and I think they're ready to make a statement of their own to Detroit and the rest of the Eastern Conference.

The game is tied all of a sudden Arroyo enters and what we end the quarter winning by seven, I think BHill is missing something. He runs the offense better than the Hamster.

Dwight howard needs to improve his game. He's a beast inside but it seems like thats where he get all of his scroing from w/ dunks. Thats not a all around game. I cut him some slack because he's only 21. But he should work on his outside game a little bit a become more versatile like other players... Carlos Boozer, KG, Amare Stoudamire...etc

Actually, both Arroyo AND Nelson were in the game for the last few minutes of the second quarter, and they did a good job together, and then Nelson ran the team in the third as the Magic pulled away.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish by blindly criticising Nelson? How's about praise for a really good TEAM effort last night - all of the Magic players, all three point guards included, had really good nights. Enjoy the fact that they have blown two teams out in consecutive games - it doesn't happen often.

The last two games should have been, and were, easy "gimme" wins. I mean, come on! The real test will be against Detroit. If they win then, then we have a shot at this playoff spot. Detroit is on fire-we NEED that win!
LET'S GO MAGIC!

The Magic have proven that they can play head up with the best teams for three quarters. What they have shown (especially at home) is that they have no answers in the fourth. This playoff run is showing a more confident team in every quarter, and a team that is beating the teams THEY ARE SUPOSED TO BEAT.

We're still working on the fourth quarter thing but...

This might seem nuts to many, but I noticed a couple things the magic should try. They should try to make JJ a PG like Hinrich of the bulls. He does a great job for them and I think Hinrich and JJ have alot of the same quailities besides being white. Then put Ariza in to play the 2 and let Turk, Darko and Howard play the 3, 4 and 5. I never understood why they won't let JJ handle the ball? IMO this is the best way to get the best team on the floor at once. Since we don't have a JKidd to break down defense's, we might as well have a guy that is 6'4 handling the ball that can shoot. I doubt he would turn it over as much as Arroyo and Nelson have becasue he is a better passer than both and shoots better, so why not give that a try. It could not hurt to try that.

Finally people are starting to realize that ONLYICANDUNK does nothing but to dunk the ball.

I agree Rico4ever, I think Detroit will want to make a statement to their likely round 1 oppponents. Boy, would I love to win the next two, regardless... Hey, I can dream, right?
Go Magic!
