I just love how you leave out the fact UK, Calipari nor Bledsoe are under any investigation for breaking rules. I know it makes for a good story but when you talk about someone being held accountable for violations it would really help the story if there were any violations to speak of. Do proper research before you write a (non)story. It would make you seem more credible.

Care to name any of those rule violations? This is really getting silly.

coach cals only violation is not using some of his big bucks to hire johnny cochrons law firm to sue the agent who gave cambi money and sue the high school people who helped rose cheat on his tests.
a law suit on the grounds that these people harmed his character/reputation/good name is something that would light a fire under the ncaas butt. especially if they were named in it.

That is the most sensible comment,I have heard in awhile. And maybe he should sue the guy that wrote the artical. On the same grounds.Maybe that would stop some of this nonsense.

what bothers me about this whole thing is; DUKE. they had the exact same thing happen to them and the ncaa did nothing except accept their excuse . they same excuse that umass , memphis , and kentucky used.
the only difference is with umass the violation happened during college not during high school.
to stop this , a coach would have to have one assistant per player ; assigned to follow the player every second to keep patential agents from making contact.
time to make it a felony punishable by prison ; if any person who is not affiliated with the college team knowlingly cause a kid to violate rules will be prosecuted. agents and high school coaches will think twice about a career ruining decision for a talented kid.

You must have fallen and hit your head, Coach cal is not a very good coach, he showed that when he coached Memphis to a chamionship game and was leading with a couple of minutes to play and lost the game. The only way he can win is to violate the rules , he did it to Umass, Memphis, and he will do it to U of K.

sounds like you are a bitter fan because memphis lost their coach to UK. if you take the time to truly research what you claim , you will find that coach cal was never found to be at fault/or quilty of any violations.
what really needs to happen is the feds need to make it a crime. any agent, booster , or other person non affiliated with a said university/college and knowingly causes an athlete to break any written ncaa rule be punishable by prison.
then they need to go after them instead of the schools and athletes.
marcus cambis agent got a real good laugh at UMASS. not only did cambi pay him back for the car and cash , cambi made him rich.
