Well thats about the most shadiest thing the NCAA could possibly do. How about doing all of it upfront. Since when does "you are cleared to play" mean "you are cleared to play but we might come along later and punish the school you played for later because you played." Only the NCAA could pull this crap.

maybe some day a few of these universities will file a class action suit against this ncaa monster.
the cory meggett rule can be used in their defense. cory was found to have taken money and violated ncaa rules; all after the fact that he helped duke make it to the national title game and finish runner up to uconn.
what happened to duke? NOTHING. duke claimed they didnt know but would cooperate. no loss of scholarships , no forfeiting of games , no post season ban, and no probation. duke was not punished for doing the same thing memphis did , umass did , and UK is now being investigated for.
time to take it to a higher court and stop this double standard ncaa monster.
