Elton and Corey left the fans who have stood by them for years in the dust. You take a salary for an entire year, no one complains, and you just bail. You talk about a championship team with Baron and you immediately bail. It is clearly evident what kind of people these guys are? They are no different than anybody else they have no heart or soul for the game, it's all about them and how much money they can make? The two guys I supported and liked the most in the NBA are now the players I hate the most. I hope you fail, get injured, and have a horrible life. I have no respect for you, you never tried to work things out, you led the clippers fans believe you were different and loyal, and through us in front of the bus. You guys sold us out, a blue collar, hard working,$50,000 or less angelenos whose sole entertainment and team is the Clippers. I believe in resurrection and in your next lifetimes you will see how it feels.

No heart, no soul!! No different!!!

Sincerely for nothing

I understand why Clips fans feel betrayed, but it's completely emotional and not logical at all. The Clips organization is infamous for mistreating players and coaches. They are the bastard cousin to the Lake Show. They don't even have their own arena. I get that the millions thrown at these players seems like it demands some sort of loyalty, but truth is that market values for skills are what they are, and if an organization wants to keep it's players it needs to be more attractive. The average fan making 50grand or less wouldn't stay at the same crap-ass job with similar issues if another company offered better benefits, better pay (possibly) and a much better attitude. The Clips had no interest in resigning Maggette, so anger at him is ill directed, aim that at Dunleavy. Also, the Clips were pretty shady on trying to steal Baron from the W's, and act like Brand leaving was a moral outrage. Karma isn't usually so instant, except when the Clips are involved.
