I'll be patient with this new regime, but I was not one that was in favor of it. I can understand wanting to get rid of Marbury, but why not play him at the two guard for some minutes. If he plays well, then maybe Knicks can win some games and he can increase his trade value.

It's as if Isiah was still on the bench... But seriously, that was depressing. Aside from heading into a new direction, I'd assume that this new rotation would have its bumps and bruises anyway but a bad loss like this one to a sub-par Milwaukee definitely still says somthing about this team: a lack of a reliable, consistent scorer and an interior defender/shot-blocker. Jared Jeffries certainly isn't the answer, but he is better than nothing. Curry would have been absolutely useless out there anyway.

We all knew this team was gona stink this year. There are a few guys that may be part of the future here put most will be gone in the next 2 years via trades, expiring contracts or buyouts. Marbury will be gone after this season no matter what. There is zero chance of getting any value for him because of his monsterous contract and teams know that if the want him they can get him at a discount over the summer. Not to say Marbury can not help another team. What would happen IF he played well here this year all it does is hurt our chances of a high lottery pick and then hes gone. I could care less about seeing him play well. He could serve as a good six man for another team just not here. Expect 20something wins and good draft position. The fan suffering will pay off in 2-4 seasons.
